Copper Island Bagels — Restaurant in Schoolcraft Township

I love seeing a new place in Lake Linden! The bagels are a delicious take on a classic item. I personally love the Everything Bagel. The sandwiches are delicious! My wife and I eat here regularly, she gets breakfast sandwiches and roast beefs on Jalapeno Cheddar and I get the same on Everything or Asiago.

You can't beat a delicious sandwich for $7 to $8 in this day and age! The owners are on site working, and are very kind and interesting people. We love having to chat with them. The employees are also very kind and helpful.

Everything is clean and well laid out. You order at the counter and wait for your food. There is no table service.

They still have hard ice cream, but they got rid of the soft serve for anyone used to the previous owners of the business.

We stopped for a quick bagel sandwich to go this week and were very happy to find this little bagel shop. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and they were out of the everything bagels in the store but the shop owner overheard us trying to decide on an alternate and offered to snag one out of his stash that he was about to be hauling off to the farmer’s market that day. We gladly accepted the offer. He spoke with us for a while and detailed all of the local farmers and food producers that they support by sourcing a lot of their ingredients from them. My visit today was absolutely wonderful! Being a poor college student who craves real food, these bagels made me remember that there is actual food outside of the dining halls! I would highly highly recommend their bagel sandwiches!
