Overall a great little park. Our site (#12) was level but all sites seem pretty narrow. Beach and lake were nice. Bathrooms were always clean. Lots of playground equipment for kids. It connects to the city park which had basketball and tennis courts. Our kids played the disc golf course. We used this park as a base and visited a lot of areas in the keweenaw. Copper harbor is about an hours drive. Calumet was about 15 minutes. Douglass houghton falls about 10 minutes. 20 minutes to Houghton. A couple of cons: 1. There seemed to be a lot of people with dogs off leash in this park and there is no park ranger (like state parks) to complain to. We had one dog try to get on to our picnic table while we were making dinner. 2. There is a code for the bathroom which I recommend asking for before you arrive. 3. As mentioned, the sites are pretty narrow and you feel like you are sitting right next to your neighbors when you are at the campground. This would be great for a group.

We enjoyed our stay at this little city campground. It was busy, but not loud. Every morning and afternoon you can watch the air taxi taking off and landing out on the lake, bringing people to and from the island. The campground is also convenient to Houston-Hancock and so many of the mines in the area that we visited for tours. It was also a short drive to Copper Harbor and the upper upper areas of Michigan. We would definitely stay here again.

The Camp Host have been a lot of help and friendly. It's a small campground with a nice beach and play area. Within walking of a bigger playground and into town.

We stayed here for almost 4 weeks during June and July of 2017. During that time the WiFi didn't work, even though the village promised everyday that it would be fixed soon, the EPA put out a warning to not dig in the sand on the beach; it turns out that the place is a EPA Superfund site and the sand is full of toxic heavy metals, and there is warning by the manager's spot that talks about which fish are not safe to eat.

It rained 19 of the 26 days we stayed and the campground was flooded most of the time and everyday we were there at least 40 cars and trucks drove through daily. It turns out that driving through the campground to gawk at the campers is a pass time for many of the Lake Linden locals.

Other than the above issues it was okay. However, we will never stay there again and would advise all others to avoid this...

Stayed here a few nights recently and really enjoyed it for the most part. Beautiful view of the lake with plenty of beach space and playground for my kids to play. The rates are fantastic for full hookups too.

Downsides were the bathroom was a little rough. Clogged toilet and water all over the floor from the toilet. I have a pop up with no bathroom. Was like that every time I went that day.

One night, the other side of the campground from where my site was was very loud well past midnight. I felt bad for the tent campers near it. They seemed to have a lot of people there that were not staying at the campground as cars were leaving throughout the evening. Not sure how regulated quiet hours are but there seemed to be no campsite host...
