Godwit Coffee (Trailer) — Restaurant in Scotch Plains

This is such a unique spot and I enjoy coming here, plus I haven’t had anything bad here (coffee and tea). Today though, I did not have a good customer service experience. I arrived this morning and asked for one drink, paid with Apple Pay and proceeded to wait patiently outside in the cold for my drink. After 12 mins (as timed by my Apple wallet) I finally got my one drink. At the exact same time, a customer who ordered two drinks and what seemed like two food items (and who had arrived 4 mins after me) got his order. I would appreciate a first in first out approach to orders...

We love having Godwit Coffee in our neighborhood. The owners are very nice and get your orders done quickly. The coffee is delicious and I love how they have seasonal offerings, that's usually what I get, when we go. While food is not their focus, they do have a few offerings to go along with your coffee if you want. My only criticism is that I wish they had a larger size of the "large" coffee. I am super picky with coffee and usually need a lot of cream. This is truly the best coffee I have ever tasted. I hardly need cream with this coffee. People always talk about the purity of coffee and the taste of different flavors of that coffee- I never understood that UNTIL I HAD GODWIT. Truly the best coffee!
