Handel's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Scottsdale

I wanted to take a moment to rave about the amazing service we received from Cody and Marcy at Handles Ice Cream. My fiancé and I are catering Handles for our wedding, and both Cody and Marcy went above and beyond to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We came in for a taste test, and Cody was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. He guided us through so many flavor options, explaining the ingredients in detail and making sure we found the perfect ones for our special day. Not only did he make sure we had a great experience, but we also walked away with a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into each batch of ice cream.

I also want to shout out Marcy for being incredibly helpful from the start. She communicated over email to set up our meeting, answered all of my questions, and even took the time to talk on the phone with me. She made the whole process feel seamless and was just as fantastic as Cody in making us feel valued and supported. The attention to detail and customer service from both Cody and Marcy were truly exceptional. It’s clear they care deeply about both the product and the people they serve. We couldn’t be more excited to have Handles Ice Cream at our wedding!

If you’re looking for a new favorite ice cream spot, Handel’s Ice Cream is the place to be! We visited during their soft opening last night, and it was fantastic.

From the moment we walked in, Marcy and Gary made us feel so welcome, and you can really tell how much they care about their customers.

The ice cream selection is incredible—there are so many delicious flavors to choose from, and everything we tried was top-notch. Whether you're craving something classic or a bit more adventurous, Handel's has it all. And the prices? So reasonable for the quality and portions you get! It’s great value for your dollar, which makes it that much easier to go back again and again.

Since they are brand new, they were a little slow... but it was honestly comically slow. In the time it took them to make a banana split, I was able to go to the bathroom, leisurely wash my hands, come back out, read the entire menu, and then stare at them questioning what they could possibly be doing to my banana split. And all this time we still hadn't paid for it yet. Also it took 3 different people surrounding my banana split before it was done... I did think the scoops were a little small but was able to see another fascinating perspective. They only had some tables outside, and the lady in line behind us came out and said verbatim, "they gave me too much ice cream I'm gonna scrape a little in the trash". So apparently they don't "skimp" on their portions (their slogan)... for people on diets...
