We had a great 5 star experience on Friday, the bartender was unbelievable and so was our server Dan.

Regrettably, tonight, a very poor experience. Ordered drinks, smoked old fashion, which are fantastic, and then ordered our entrees and a bottle of wine to share. Dinner entrees and old-fashioned were served however no wine. After several minutes we inquired with the server on the status of the wine and were advised it’s coming from downstairs as they just ran out at the restaurant level. This was acknowledged, however after a second and third attempt to ascertain on the status of the wine (we were almost done our dinner), we were advised that they were totally out !

We never received our wine or an option for an alternative. Finished our entree’s without wine, no big deal, however when we spoke with manager he offered a free dessert which we declined, he seemed dismissive about the wine which was our primary issue.

No communication at all thereafter, the manager hid behind the glass window in the kitchen with little and no contact and no offer to make it right! My opinion is that if there’s a mess up, own it, and make it right, and change the experience from messed up to great - not done in this case !

The non-involvement and only blame by the manager of their waiter didn’t reflect well for the restaurant and resort

Tonight’s service experience was not worth one star due solely on the Manager. his job is to guide his team and provide support when needed. We’re sad to provide this review as the remainder of our stay experience was very positive. Perhaps this is an opportunity for some further training? Food experience was very good, though.

Cheers, without wine tonight, I will still be able to sleep

I hope the the...

Food was excellent. Service was horrible. Me and my girlfriend went for a nice dinner and ended up sitting at the bar. There were about 10 people at the bar and still some open seats left. There were 4 workers in the bar and they walked by us multiple times without saying "hello" , or a "we will be with you" and would walk by us with their head down and not make eye contact. At 14 minutes someone not at the bar asked if we wanted water. Another 12 minutes go by before I ask the manager if they were short staffed in which he said they were waiting for 1 more person.

The couple next to us have been waiting 20 minutes before we arrived to be asked for their order.

A few minutes later we got asked what we wanted to drink and what we wanted to order as well as both couples besides us.

1hr 45 minutes in I look to my right I see a person holding up a 100 dollar bill for 15 minutes before being acknowledged.

For 4 people in a bar to service 10 couples is not a huge workload and all we wanted to be was acknowledged that we were here, just like the couples next to us felt. I don't care if the food takes long, I don't want to feel like I am being ignored.

This is the worst service I have come across ever because it should never come to a point where I have to talk to a manager 28 minutes in to try and get service at 5pm and it wasn't even that busy inside.

I ended up paying 170 dollars with tip even though the tip was not deserved. Hope this is not the norm but me and the other two couples were not...

Tash is a restaurant blessed with a magnificent sunset visa atop the Talking Stick Resort so if you are going to an event there, as we were we wanted an exciting experience at Talking Stick. View gets an A+ sadly the restaurant was lackluster in service. The table seated as we were got food & we didn’t even have drinks yet? Oh & the whole restaurant booked with reservations yet when we called we were told on a message they did not accept reservations??? Luckily it forced us to sit on the patio which was the MOST beautiful place because the weather was perfect & the sunset was gorgeous. So the food- my husband ordered a pizza which technically was the only tapa. The pepperoni/sausage was a plain jane generic pizza nothing special. Maybe sausage spicy a bit. The crispy salmon salad was good but my sister was surprised the salmon was breaded & fried, not the salmon skin. I had the scallops with gnocchi dish & the scallops actually had gritty taste from the scallop or spices? The person who made the gnocchi must of made the dough wrong. They were heavy, but good. The dish had a “Sun dried tomato pesto” it was a creamy tomato with no herbs. Not flavorful. Disappointed. My mother shrimp, bacon pasta ok. I read the other reviews coming in & they were like this. Tash needs to improve. Darn that sunset view should have a line out the door opening at 4pm but you have to have quality product (food & service) then market more than romantic sunset. Out of town get your beautiful picture at...

This is the latest restaurant to open inside Talking Stick Resort and Casino in Scottsdale. We arrived at about 6:00 PM on a Sunday night for dinner. The hostess immediately greeted us and we were able to get a table for 2 without any reservations. This place had a great feel with some amazing views of Camelback Mountain. They have a outside patio which is stunning at sunset! The ambiance is happy and cheerful...all servers were on top of their game! We had the Fired Up Cauliflower appetizer which is a whole head cauliflower which is roasted in a lemon oil and covered in a tzatziki sauce. It had great flavor and can easily feed 3 people. Then we had the TORRE DE FOGO which were crispy chicken legs, spicy-sweet chili glaze, pickled carrots, cucumber salad, avocado cream. It was fantastic! See photos. Our main course was the short rib and scallop entries. Both came out piping hot, had a beautiful presentation and tasted great! This is a place that I will most definitely return!

Just opened inside of Talking Stick! With most of their restaurants still being closed due to Covid, Tash is one of the few dining options at the resort itself. It is a little hard to find and we had to ask several employees to point us in the right direction but we finally found it and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service. We had the Pizza Quattro and it was amazing! They have a stone fire brick oven and I watched them hand toss the dough. It was topped with prosciutto, ricotta, mozzarella and fresh arugula. The char from the oven with the crunch from the fresh arugula was amazing. Full of flavor. My husband had the Grilled Swordfish. Served with a yellow pepper coulis, orzo pasta, Romesco sauce and garbanzo beans. The fish was prepared perfectly and the Romesco sauce was a great compliment. A great new addition to the dining options at Talking Stick.
