This specific KFC used to be great. But the last 2 times I went there, my order was shorted. I ordered inside,& I along with someone else whom actually ordered b4 me waited for our order to get made while the people in line whom ordered after us, got their food handed to them first and went along their merry way. The first time out of the 2 last times I ordered I specifically ordered a 6 piece tender meal which was actually supposed to be a 3 piece meal with 3 additional chicken tenders. I got home and there was only 4 smaller sized tenders in there for the adult male that ordered it. I called to see if they can give me my money back and a girl told me to write her name on top the receipt and bring it back to get what I originally ordered. OK fine but I live about 15 minutes away so it won't be same day. Needless to say, that kfc family dinner that was supposed to be a treat to have wasn't a treat at all if not everyone gets what they ordered. Yesterday evening I went back to let KFC correct their 1st mistake. The cashier asks me for a code number that I was never given that was supposed to have gotten me my replacement meal. Nope I only got the ladies name like she told me. Anyway, she said well ur supposed to have a number hold on I'll check if this is OK. It better be cuz I didn't drive down here to be told I can't get what KFC owes me. So she says there is a 3 minute wait on tenders. I said OK but I have more to order so can u take my order now? The lady was trying to bypass me put me aside because I it seemed I was too troubling for her to deal with. She said OK but the tenders have a wait. I said I know that's fine. Like so what if the person behind me wanted them too? It wasn't about the wait, it's that she made me feel as though I was a pain and maybe she even thought i was trying to pull one over on her though this was not the case nor was it my fault they messed up our order time b4. She's done taking my order and says I need 2 chicken littles to the boy behind the counter. He says nope, I'm not making them im done. What? Next thing I know she's finishing the order of the guy behind me and then from the cash regester she goes to make my chicken Little. Yes just 1. She puts it into a bag and says here's your order. Ummm,I ordered 2 not 1. She actually says no you didn't. I said yes I did and I hand her the new receipt. She said OK u did. Then while she's making that I count the tenders. 6 good. Kids meal is there, where's the drink? She had to look at receipt again, she gets me the cup. Then I say omg wait where's the sides that come with the 6 piece tender meal that I was owed? She said what? I said it's on the receipt. She said where. I said u took it. So she went and grabbed it and asked what side I said mashed potatoes &... she walks away and grabs container puts it in bag and says OK and goes back to register again. So I have to wait for her to notice me again and I say there was another side, of Cole slaw. She gives me the worst look and grabs a container puts it in bag and goes back to register . I'm not going through this again for the biscuits she forgot. No biscuits tonight. OK so this review is long and I want to wrap up so I get home. My son wants his mac n cheese side I ordered, so I go to get it and it's not there. No worries, the kids meal had a small side if it. He goes to eat that and there is stuff in there that is not mac n cheese. Ewewew. So I had to call again. This time lady Gave me a number to give when I make my way back to KFC so they can correct this last order. After they correct it I'm not sure I'll ever go back to KFC on Keyser. Did I mention I was there for...
Read moreFirst off, we got out of the car and upon walking up to the building, the employee locked the door right in front of us. So that was a good sign. Then on our way back to the car, a group of people warned us that the wait would be longer than 20 minutes and that they were already missing food from their order. Not giving it much thought, we decided to try the drive-thru. It took a brief moment for the employee to take care of us, which was understandable as we had two cars in front of us. But what happened next was a slightly disappointing fast food experience. After the employee had a bit of trouble adding up the amount of chicken strips in our order, we pulled up to the drive-thru window to pay. It came out to almost $60 for what we had ordered. Before we handed them the money, they did notify us that they were out of biscuits, so they gave us a replacement. What we received after, however, was a single portion of our order with the large majority missing. Literally 5 of the 25 chicken strips were in the bag with none of the sides we ordered included at all. And they tried to send us on our way. We waited patiently before asking the men in the kitchen about the remainder of our order, which we were assured was being worked on. But after a moment, the employee at the window left to take a company phone call and the other man came to the window to check on our order, which we still had not received. Throwing a seemingly random assortment of food into two rather large plastic bags, he said, "You know what, I'm just going to give you all this since you've been waiting so long," and triple checked whatever order was on screen at the time. Assuming he gave us all our food and more, we drove off so as not to keep the rest of the line waiting. Shortly after, however, we checked the bags and found a bucket of chicken, a few sandwiches, a bowl of popcorn chicken, cole slaw, and biscuits, which we had been informed they were all out of. Along with two lukewarm sodas. This couldn't be more wrong than the single type of Georgia Gold chicken strips we had ordered along with a few sides of mac & cheese. We think we got the order behind us. And maybe the one...
Read moreI just had the most extraordinary experience at my local KFC, and I'm still reeling from the sheer magnificence of it all! Not only did they serve me the most scrumptious, succulent, and divine chicken I've ever tasted, but the staff also demonstrated a level of kindness, bravery, and dedication that left me speechless.
As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by the manager, who not only welcomed me with a warm smile but also helped me locate my missing child, who had wandered off in the parking lot! I was frantic with worry, but the manager sprang into action, using his expertise in child-finding (who knew that was a thing?) to reunite me with my little one.
But that was only the beginning. As I waited in line, one of the young ladies behind the counter noticed I was about to slip on a patch of ice and jumped into action, literally throwing herself onto the ground in front of me to break my fall! I mean, who needs superheroes when you have KFC staff?!
And then, the pièce de résistance: the food. Oh, the glorious food! The chicken was so tender, so juicy, so full of flavor that I almost wept with joy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the gravy was rich, and the coleslaw was the perfect accompaniment. It was a culinary symphony that left me wanting more, more, MORE!
But wait, there's more! The staff also offered me a complimentary therapy session to deal with the trauma of almost slipping, and the manager even gave me his personal cell number in case I ever needed any more help finding my child (or just needed some advice on life).
In conclusion, this KFC is not just a restaurant - it's a haven of hope, a beacon of kindness, and a shining example of excellence in customer service. If you haven't been there yet, drop everything and go. Your taste buds, your emotional well-being, and your sense of wonder...
