I can't say enough great things about National Bakery! The rolls are a great, always fresh and delish! I always pick up a few cheese danish for breakfast. They are amazing when heated in a toaster oven and slathered with whipped sweet butter. The counter staff is always friendly and kind. I always joke that I could hook up the pastry case, full of goodies to my Jeep a pull it right out of the building. Life's too short not to be enjoying National Bakeries goodies a few times a week. You know what ruins a business? Rude customer service. I loved the bread.. but the woman who “helped” us was so incredibly rude and impatient. When we didn’t know the prices, she rolled her eyes and was so unprofessional (older woman with white hair and was wearing a pink shirt today). You should not work customer service if you don’t know how to speak to customers and aren’t willing to answer questions. Not professional at all. Lost a customer and will continue to do so due to lack of self-awareness. Such bad energy the second you walk into this place. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Seems like they're freezing a lot more of their bread products now which is unfortunate altho it probably saves them money and a lot of waste. But sadly when i get a sandwich from some place, places I've been going forever that always have used National Bakery forever and still does, the hard rolls and hoagie buns now seem to be stale now. This just began a few months back. Hopefully it returns back to fresh, soon. The deserts (cookies and pastries) still are pretty good and always have been, as long as there not sitting in that very air filled shelf...
