Nina's Five Star Pizza — Restaurant in Scranton

I lived around the corner before they opened up. I have tried them since day one. I know for a fact nothing is microwaved everything they make is fresh and showed to you before you even pay. The prices are great. They even treat everyone like your there family. I moved over an hour away, and everytime I'm in Scranton the first thing I think of is to stop at Nina's and take a home cooked meal home to my family. No complaints at all I love coming here and enjoying there food and company it's like everything is done with love.i would recommend everyone to this establishment I know for a fact you'll be a long time loyal customer like I am. I know for a fact in 20 years they will still be around. So my advice would be to you to adjust your taste buds because there not going anywhere. Mama and Papa we appreciate you so keep up...

This is our families go to place. We probably order once a week. If you're looking for NY style, hand tossed pizza, (not that square, american cheese stuff spread on a store bought sponge) then this is it. No sweet sauce. Just the perfect pie. They're always consistent. Always fresh, delicious, and hot. Fast service. No hour waits and cold deliveries. Fantastic dinners, made w/ vegetables (in season) from their garden. My husband's favorite is Spaghetti Marinara, while mine is Pasta Aglio e Olio. They treat us like family. Whomever said they were rude, obviously had some sort of disconnect or misunderstanding because I've never seen any of them be anything but super kind, generous, & welcoming. Always ask me about my husband. Ask how I'm doing, etc. They are a jewel in Southside Scranton, and easily my favorite places...

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!!! I have been trying so many local pizza spots to find one that's consistently at least better than decent (i even have a spreadsheet!) and the first time i ordered from here i knew literally by the time i hung up the phone that it was going to be special. when we went to pick up we discovered that almost every pie is vegetarian. this is an absolute dream come true for me!!!! the owner is so incredibly kind and accommodating. he really takes your requests and questions and food needs seriously, and every different pizza we've tried so far has been SHOCKINGLY delicious. i'm not even exagerrating. the prices for specialty pies are incredibly reasonable. i've never tried delivery, but everything else about Nina's gets an enthusiastic...
