I went to Retro Cafe today for coffee. I was in town to see friends and thought I’d check out this new cafe. My barista was Jillian. (so cute ☺️, I may or may not have ordered a few things just to talk to her). Anyways 😂. So, needless to say the staff here are friendly and approachable. The espresso I order was wonderful, the place was clean and organized. The atmosphere is welcoming, the esthetic is balanced, new and modern. I found out the the sandwich’s and pastries are all made fresh each day by the owner and the drink menu is diverse and curated. This place is a welcome introduction to the small business to the area. Cool story it turns out the cafe is owned by the same management of On and On vintage shop. That’s one of my favorite vintage spots in Pennsylvania. Jillian is a great representative of the business and seem very invested in its success. It’s always a pleasure to see employees invest in local businesses. I wish the owners and staff at Retro Cafe the very best. I pray you guys continues to develop and grow and be...

I'm always happy to support any local businesses that open up, especially a coffee place! I've been here a handful of times, and the drinks are great, the food always satisfies, and prices are fair. I also like the location. It's right next to National Bakery, so the parking is really convenient, and it has that cozy neighborhood feel. Kind of a bit ticked off the owner removed my book flyer from the community board, but have Scranton Prep up there of all things. I worked my ass off on my first book, I live like 4 blocks away, and I thought this place tried to cultivate community and art. I've been going here since they opened too, so that just adds a bit extra insult to injury. I used to really champion this place, but now I really don't...

As an NEPA-ian, this is such a great place to get something to eat either Breakfast or Lunch.

My favorites are the Egg Sandwich, their Tomato soup, their grilled cheese, and their Lemon Blush Smoothie, I love their items, and even if I'm not into coffee, this is still a great spot to eat, and I'd recommend it to all of my local friends, who want something different for a change.

I'd just wished they would have a ton of more menu items and drinks that aren't coffee related added(like more International Sodas in addition to the Mexican Coca-Cola, or more unique menu items that would...

Cute little place. The barista pick flavor was “the flannel” latte so I got that. It’s a mix of Irish cream, hazelnut, and lavender. I got mine with oat milk and it was delicious. The barista was also very friendly and excited when asked about the barista choice flavor. The atmosphere feels retro with the color patterns and the boards of board games on the wall. It seems like a quiet little place to get a good cup of coffee.

My first time in today and my experience was phenomenal. Very affordable, delicious food and coffee. I ordered solely from the opinions of one of the workers. She was very friendly and helpful. Across the street On and On is located so after refueling here you can cross the street and shop ! She also made sure to accommodate my allergy. I don’t have a photo but the peanut butter balls are delicious.
