Overboard Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Seabrook

I have been in the beach area Salisbury , Seabrook, Hampton for a few months . I’ve tried almost every place on the strip. I visited the Overboard Pub & Grill in Seabrook NH , WOW!!!! The first time the service , food, & drinks were great. So i went back and it just kept getting better. Whether I sat at a table or the bar , watch a game, order to drink / food , listen to live music it came with a smile. Overboard has a great atmosphere, casual, excellent staff, friendly. patrons, plenty of free parking, great/reasonable prices , and on top of all that almost all gluten free selection . Bonus they have live music Fridays and Saturday. When i say the want you to be happy The Chef even came to check on all of our gluten free selection. Amazing Service my hats off to the Chef. I had an amazing dining experience overall nice atmsphere and had a chill beach vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed. Our bartender, Laura Lee, was fantastic and took great care of us throughout our visit.

We also met Lisa, the manager, who was incredibly informative about the menu and shared the story of this small family business, including the significance of Uncle Vinny on the wall. It added a personal touch to our meal.

I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and I can honestly say it was the best one I’ve ever had! My husband enjoyed the Smashburger just as much. The prices were definitely reasonable for the quality of food we received.

A special shoutout to Trevor, the sous chef, who came out to greet us. I was thrilled to compliment him on his talent. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend Overboard. We can’t wait to return whn the weather is nicer to enjoy their outside deck along with some oysters and steamers.

I feel like this restaurant deserves a 3 star review but I will be putting 4 star due to their service and atmosphere.

Pros- awesome staff! Live music (which was interesting). Clam chowder soup was better than most places. I liked the atmosphere. We don't drink but because it is a pub, im sure the drinks here are alright.

Cons/mediums- food was not great. We got the Lobster Arancini and crabmeat ragoons. The arancini was very dry and a bit tasteless. The crabmeat ragoons were.... different. They were just alright.

Husband got the lemon and herb crusted haddock. It was decent. He personally didn't like it but it was due to personal taste. I thought it was decent. Not much flavor.

I got the fish and chips. Fish was mediocre and fries were not great.

Would I come back again? Personally, no. However, I think it is a nice place to come to if you want to just hang out. Service is great and live music is awesome! I think our taste preferences are just a lot different than what was provided. Food was on the...
