I just spent the last hour and a half (purposefully timed after sitting in the line for the first twenty minutes) in their horrific drive-thru line (and mind you, this is a regular occurrence for a late-evening meal, roughly six out of seven nights a week the stagnation can be witnessed).
They did not offer explanation when prompted nor an apology for the egregious delay. In fact, thirty minutes after my order was finally taken, they ended up still getting it wrong and packaged improperly—an astounding revelation after I had returned home. In the grand scheme of things, they didn’t even bother to offer agitated customers (a line of more than fifteen cars wrapping around the building) with something like a coupon, a free drink, or a discount.
Consistently, this place is also a trash dump inside with a staff that seemingly could not care or are otherwise oblivious to what constitutes reasonable expectations for customer service. The unfortunate reality, however, is that for late-night dining takeaway, they’re virtually the only game in town besides McDonalds. Read moreit was a simple order of two items but when I got to the window I pulled my phone out to pay with Samsung pay which most of people are using or other methods like android or apple pay... I was greeted with a young cashier which I could tell was not familiar with this payment method, manager was called to take over to help her with the transaction and she was as lost as the cashier... I politely told them to just put my phone near the swipe slot to accept my payment and she refused and proceeds to tell me that it's not going to work, I asked if she knows or that's her opinion and she told me she runs the place, then I asked if she is the owner she said no and started to reassure me it would not work so I asked to go inside and do it in the lobby she said no I'm telling you we don't accept it. when i go inside to get store information to let corporate know so they can properly train them other nice young lady that made my food offer me to try and help and she did, my payment went through an I left Taco bell half satisfied... hopefully when I return manager will be more ...
Read moreThis place was completely rebuilt just a few years back, and in my opinion should have been made into a KenTacoHut, since the Pizza Hut and KFC really need to be redone as well. That said it is a upgrade from what was there. But like most places they want to cut corners. WHY install a 2 window drive up if in just a few months time you close off the payment window. When I get to the second window I should be getting my order, not being asked for payment while they try to hand me something. Then you stuff overstock in the area where everyone who drives by can see where you set things, which really is right behind the wall where the employee and a cash register should be taking my money. Maybe the attendant at the second window could double check the order so I get what I ordered, not trying to figure out change because i didn't use a card. KFC and Burger King have done the same thing, but the only time you have this happen at McDonalds is at 2 am when there...
