Very disappointed. We stopped by on the way home from the lake for dinner. 7:00pm on a Monday and there were no customers at all. (That should have been a warning.)
We walked in an there was NO ONE to be seen anywhere in the store, including employees. We had to yell out "Hello!?", and suddenly a bunch of guys started coming out of somewhere in back.
I was nervous, but we ordered anyway. $9.99 for a Whopper Combo?! What? Another $1.50 to upsize to Medium? Seriously?! So we spent over $30 for 2 people at Burger King. (Who knew that was a thing now?) We went to get our drinks in the custom touch screen "any drink under the sun" soda machine. Guess what? 80% or more of the drinks were greyed out and unavailable. No Dr Pepper, no Coke (unless you want vanilla), only things they really had was Sprite and Orange Fanta. Terrible.
Then we got our food. I asked for some ketchup. "We're out of ketchup." "'You're WHAT?!" I said. He just stared at me blankly. So I turned to who looked like a Manager and said, "YOU'RE OUT OF KETCHUP?!!?" He said, "sorry, we are out of ketchup packets, but I can get you some ketchup". He went back and filled a little cup with ketchup from the back. So we sat down with our food and unwrapped to eat. My whopper was not great. Low on condiments, bun was dry and even hard in some spots. Not good.
The Fries were even worse. I have no idea how long they had been sitting under a warmer, but they were OLD fries.
I have no idea who is managing that place, but to run our of almost all your drink options, and ketchup packs. Should have just gone across the street to Perkins. I could have spent $30 for 2 people there just as easily, and I bet the food would have been...
Read moreLet’s start with the order and go from there. 1st the guy taking our order must have been new or didn’t really care to be there. Had to pay with a card or exact change as they were out of money. After we ordered, he went to give us our drink cups and put his hand inside every one of them trying to put the lids inside, we then went to go get our drinks and everything was unavailable. I complained and they took our cups to the back and got our drinks. While we waiting we used the restroom and they definitely need cleaned. We had to sit in the waiting room and wait for our food and I was afraid to sit down and the floor was gross. I’m not a germ freak and I wouldn’t let my kids touch nothing. We then had to wait 30 mins for our food and all the guy at the front did was sit it on the counter. Didn’t call a number or nothing. Got our food and that was the best part. Food tasted great. I did hear while we where waiting the workers keep saying we our out of this and that and even told someone at the drive thru speaker it was going to be 5 mins before he could take their order. Keep in mind there were 3 people waiting on food when we got there and 1 in the drive thru. If you don’t mind the long wait and you don’t touch anything they...
Read moreOur large family get together over Thanksgiving included visiting this BK on a rainy day to allow the kids to burn some energy in the play area. There were 8 kids in our group and probably another 8-10 kids playing as well. The visit ended abruptly when the smell of human excrement was noted on all of our kids clothes. There was a child in diapers that some of the kids noted “smelled like poop”. Fast forward 36 hours... 7 of the 8 kids and 5 of the 7 adults got severe nausea/vomiting and diarrhea. All 5 in my immediate family went to urgent care. Those in our family that did not go to BK but instead went Black Friday shopping did not get sick. We are confident the play area was contaminated. We called BK the morning after our urgent care visit. The “mid-level” manager on shift reported that she was “unable to shut the play area down... her senior manager would be back Wednesday.” Wednesday?!! Seriously? 3 whole days of making customers sick before any action is taken? My kids are missing school and other activities. I’m missing 2 days plus of work. 1 Star for not caring about the public’s health. I called the Pettis County Health Department... was forced to leave voicemail... no...
