Went there for dinner on 9.19.25, and was served RAW CHICKEN FRANCESE, not once, but TWICE. When I initially told my waitress, Amy, of the problem, she told me she would have the chef cook the chicken on my plate longer. I told her that it was unacceptable and I wanted a whole new dish made as everything was now contaminated with RAW CHICKEN juice. She told me she would inform the “chef”. That was the last we saw of the waitress, Amy. She never came back and refilled drinks or asked if anyone needed anything. The manager came over, apologized for the issue, and informed me that the chef was preparing a new dish (like I should be honored). The manager brought over the “chef” prepared second plate and again apologized for the initial issue. I cut open the chicken and… IT WAS STILL RAW!. I walked it back over to the manager and showed him the new plate still contained RAW CHICKEN. I told him I did not want anything additional to eat. I was disgusted. He “graciously” took my meal off the bill and, charged for everything else, including my drink. When he tried to talk to me about the chef again, I very plainly told him that whomever they had in back was no chef because I could not see a chef being unable to cook chicken. The manager told me he was doing his best and was only responsible for the hospitality side of the house- like somehow I should have pity on him. Unfortunately, I had eaten some of the chicken from the first plate before I realized it was raw. My daughter also ordered the same meal and unfortunately ate over half of a breast of chicken before I checked hers. It seemed fine but hope and pray we do not get sick. They tried to give me a gift card to “use next time” and I handed it right to the table across from us. I will not be back. I also called the health inspector to let them know of my experience in the event I get sick. Also, when we arrived, at 4:30pm, we were asked if we had reservations. When we responded, that we did not (looking around at an empty restaurant), we were told we had to sit at a hightop on the lounge. We said that was fine, even though we have twin 7 year olds and prefer NOT to sit in the bar area. When we left, there were still many tables in the...

Totally mobbed on Margarita Monday, so I'm sure the staff was completely overwhelmed. When this happens and it's reflected in the meal, you comp. Not difficult.

I ordered a margarita, expecting to get a margarita. I normally would stay away from a Seekonk margarita, but when the evening calls for a promo, you gotta dive in. I got the ingredients (I think) in a large whiskey glass with ice. So...not a margarita. Do you usually get ice in yours? I wouldn't know, I only got it for the cheap apps. But the giant margarita glasses that I saw pass the table all night would lead me to believe that I'd been hoodwinked. That was $14. I could have had my oil changed (with a coupon, of course) for that price. Or destroyed my colon at Wrights Farm with enough change for one of those chicken ice cream jimmy roll things.

I ordered a shrimp cocktail app with that for $2 (promo), it never came. I mentioned that at the end of the night and asked for the nachos instead to go. I figured that a plate of nachos is worth more than one jumbo shrimp. Maybe. They came in a pizza box on wax paper. Ever tried to cook nachos on paper? I had to throw 50% of it away, it all stuck to the paper. Perhaps an investment into some tin foil would project the company in a positive linear path on the graph.

My meal was the kabob trio (steak, scallops, shrimp) with a salad and rice. No rice was introduced to my plate at any point during the meal, it must have been shy. I didn't realize until after because I was laughing too hard at the portion size. For $27, you have to include more than two pieces of steak, two scallops, and three shrimp. I'd have paid no more than $12 for what I was given.

I'm glad I wasted my Monday night out. I'm sure the kitchen was working their tails off, I know the wait staff was. But in the end when you're that bad, you have to recognize it and own it. I'm totally cool with giving a place a second chance during a slower night. They didn't seem too concerned with how we perceived the place, so now I have to pass along my perception. I'll go to the Price Rite down the street next time. At least if they screw up,...

Possibly one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. I have been going to Chardonnay's since my 20's. 20 years later, and the food is just as amazing, as well as the service. I have NEVER, in all my years of going here, had a bad experience with the food or the service. If I had one word to sum up Chardonnay's its quality. Quality food, quality service, quality atmosphere. The drinks are always great, the seafood always fresh. We love the calamari, the scallops, the wedge salad, the tuna, the steaks, actually everything I've ever had there has been delicious, even the after dinner drinks and desserts, if you have room for them! Chardonnay's has always been my special place for the perfect date night, or girl's night out. The service is amazing-they never ever make you feel rushed, and are very attentive to you. Even now, with the Covid restrictions of a 90 minute table time, it still gives you ample time to enjoy a delicious drink and conversation, and your meal, without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation (yes, it's that good that you need a reservation.) Then choose a quality person along to enjoy a quality experience. You won't be...

-Picked up take out order for myself and grandkids. Wow has this place gone downhill. I ordered the Kabob Trio for myself and received wonderful olive oil dressing (quality was evident) and jazmin rice (good as usual). However, ONLY received 1 skewer of grilled protein and veggies. (consisted of 2 sirloin tips, 1 yes only 1 scallop and 2 shrimps for $32)! Are u kidding me?? The kids' salmon was dry with no butter sauce, and sweet potatoe fries were burnt. Oh and the mozzarella sticks weren't even mozzarella sticks, they were crusty bread crumbs with literally minimal dried up cheese inside. Nothing that any upscale restaurant would ever serve. Looked like something out of the frozen food section. Even Chillis or Applebee's wouldn't serve this quality of food. Wow so shocked. With this kind of quality and portions, u are competing with fast food, time for you to lower ur prices OR level up ur game. And yes, I know ur prices have gone up @25% already. I'm very aware of your pre -Covid menu and prices.
