My family recently moved to Seguin and were in search of a good breakfast taco for those rushed, on-the-go days. We looked up reviews for the area and found one within a few minutes of our new home. My daughter and I drove there and found there were no vehicles outside. I don't trust an empty parking lot, lol. Kept driving and saw a few more empty parking lots. Then we came upon a place that had a line at their drive-thru that went around to the side street. I don't mind waiting for good food so we got in line.
Mind you, we were about 6th or 7th in line - so we knew they had great customer service when a young lady ran over to our car to take our order. As we'd never been there before we didn't immediately know what we wanted and asked for her recommendations. She said she liked everything but that their most popular tacos were the Carne Guisada w/Potato and the Bacon/Bean/Potato/Cheese tacos. Sold! She then ran to the cars behind us, taking their orders as well, and then ran back inside.
Got to the window to pay and before we could ask were advised that we had 2 different kinds of salsa, salt, pepper and napkins and did we need anything else (?) as we were handed our bag. Nope! Nothing else needed!
We ate those delicious breakfast tacos and argued over whether they were delicious because the tortilla was amazing (my stance!), or because every component of the filling was excellently seasoned (my daughter's stance!). It's a win-win regardless.
We've lived in Seguin 2 weeks and have visited three times already. Just don't try to go on a Sunday...they're closed....
Read moreThe young waitress was very kind and progressional, however, the lady in front who takes the payment was extremely rude and unprofessional. As we placed our breakfast order, in which we tend to order the same Mexican dish at other restaurants, we noticed one of the plates did not have eggs in the dish. The waitress was kind and said it didnât come with eggs but will add them to the plate if that is what we would like. We decided to get something else. As the waitress went into the kitchen to tell the cook that we didnât want it bc it didnât have eggs, you can clearly hear them arguing about the return of the plate. After the waitress came back to the table we decided not to order another plate. As checking out, the lady in the front had the audacity to add the plate that was not touched or eaten on the bill. She wanted to charge us for it bc that is how they make it. We told her if the menus were readable we wouldnât have had this issue. And she replied â you know you could have easily asked us whatâs on the menu!â We couldnât believe her response with sarcasm and rudeness. Never again will I visit Noeâs. We told her that we were going to write a review and she even replied â go ahead, I donât care!â PS she did remove the plate from the bill after we told her we would absolutely not pay for something we did not...
Read moreI ordered two tacos one carne guisada with cheese and one potato and egg. The cashier so very rude when I told her I didnât like the carne guisada taco, she said âwell weâre still going to have to charge you for itâ I took one bite, she asked me if I wanted something else and I was fine with that only because I thought that would be in place of that taco I didnât like or eat. I ended up getting charged for 3 tacos when I only ate two. When I went to pay she was even more rude I told her I ate two tacos and said, âweâll you ordered three and we made them so you have to pay for themâ. If I wasnât in a rush I would have argued with her and not paid for the carne guisada that I didnât like or eat. I have worked in the restaurant setting for 7 years and that is not how you treat a customer when they do not like something on the menu and they did not eat it. All she could have done was taken the taco off and I would have been happy and tipped but no I will never be returning to this restaurant and will inform all my friends and colleagues for this rude experience. The potato egg and cheese taco I ate was not great either, itâs not real cheese. The salsa was not good either. Not at all authentic Mexican food as it says...
