20 plus minutes for a muffin and big train. While waiting I watched 1 employee wipe the top of a drink with his hand then wipe that same hand on his pants. The drive through girl making a drink with red bull got a huge amount of the red bull on the counter, floor, etc...not in the cup if the person that paid for it. The other 2 employees touched their hair. One of them was the employee that waited on me. She asked me twice if I wanted my muffin for there or to go. Yes, the 2nd time was at least 10 minutes after she took my order..but she didn't even look at me when she asked, so I'm pretty sure she didn't even remember who ordered it. If it wasn't for gift certificates I paid for in a silent auction I'm trying to use up I wouldn't have gone. Speaking of the gift card, I had to correct her on my balance. She had shorted me by $5.00. I've been 3 times and all times it has been an excessive wait time. There were crates of milk out the entire on the floor. Milk on the counter not refrigerated too the entire time..20...
Read moreI've been twice so far, and each time has been better than the last. But... that's what the review is for. Isn't it?
Consistently good coffee/chai tea; great environment to sit and relax (though...the music makes it VERY hard to concentrate; let's pick a quieter, less religious station, please); attention to detail at the counter could be optimized when you have three people working instead of a minute into someone waiting "we'll be right with you" then making them continue waiting for another few moments; all in all, a great little coffee shop with some room for the wiggles.
If you want a consistent experience in a coffee shop, not great but also not bad, you've found a great spot. Each cup has been hot, and they ask how they're doing. Not everyone does that anymore (and it shows they care). If it wasn't for these things, I'd likely rate them two stars ★★. Try to think of them as a startup that is still trying really hard but isn't "really" listening to the...
Read moreMy daughters and I came in there today for our first time! We are somewhat new to Selah and have been here for a year. I have been wanting to check this place out and so glad I did today. Although our barista was a one man show she handled the pressure with grace and did her absolute best! We had quite a wait time (not her fault as she was running the show by herself) but I didn’t mind at all as my kiddos and I enjoyed walking around looking at all the trinkets and beautiful decor in there. We also played a game of tic tac toe and checkers while we waited. The atmosphere was amazing and the coffee was amazing. We will...
