I'm a huge Burger King fan, so I'm heart broken that the one from my own home town sucks so badly. It's supposed to be open 24 hours, but often times you go by there after 12 and they always say "our system down". I'd say they need a new system but I know this is just bs for we wanna get paid for doing nothing, so we won't be taking your order tonight.
Our family and another couple used to go there every few weeks and let the kids play in the little play area while we ate. It had a smell that got worse each visit. The last time we were there it was obvious that there was a full scale roach infestation in the play area. I asked to see the manager and told her that I wasn't mad, and wasn't looking for a refund, just thought she needed to know about the roaches if she didn't already. She said she had told somebody about that a few weeks ago and didn't seem real interested in what I said. I don' know if they ever fixed it, couldn't stomach going back in there to see. I doubt it though.
It was a good place to eat, and I guess if you go through the drive through before midnight while their system is up perhaps you can get a roach free meal provided the roaches are just contained in the play area. I didn't find any roaches in the food, just running across the floor, the walls, and tables. Gamble if you wanna, I'm...
Read moreBurger King restaurant is much better. place to know that several years ago. they had bushes along the side of the restaurant in behind where you parked. one night a placement pulled me and my son over because my head beam on my left headlight hadnot slid up. while working on it weeds glance over at the bushes. under the bushes it look like the bottom of the bushes were alive. my headlight beans with shining right under the bushes. my son and officer went to look closer. from the garbage gated area to the bushes and all under the bushes were rats of all sizes. some were huge. now that they have cut the bushes down. tore down the building and relocated the garbage I will once again be a patron of this establishment. the food is good that is much better knowing there are not rats running back and forth right next to the kitchen prep area. so if there is bushes or trees or low to the ground equipment at any place you eat take a look under the scenes an around the area where you are going to eat. and you'll be surprised at...
Read moreI don't fault the workers, but I do fault Management and Ownership for a complete lack of accessibility and a Friday night lights experience that was utterly unnecessary!
De facto: truck, bus, and RV parking directly adjacent to the store. No worries IF you're a long-haul trailer trucker looking for a spot to shut down for a bit and rest up or the weary traveler on the back of the long, grey dog Greyhound Bus on your way to parts unknown. There is plenty of room in this makeshift spot.
But this BK, as does the rest of Selma, as in Selma to Montgomery and that deadly walk to freedom across the Edmund Pettus Bridge from so long ago, rode hard and put up wet. Disgraceful there!
The restrooms were unkept.
There is a lot more standing around and socializing than actual work going on from the Nighttime Team on duty for that day.
But sweet enough and responsive enough for me when I mentioned that the Men's room was out of paper towels and needed attention.
I will not be back, BUT I give them five stars...
