Mr Waffle — Restaurant in Selma

The good & service were good. Just a grown man probably in his 80's along with some more men & women sitting with him smarted off about my service dog being in there. The people working there didn't even bother to say a word about service dog's are allowed in there. He said that "he even went as far to say "I need to call the health department because they sure wouldn't allow it!! My husband talked to a lady at the health department about this because another place told us we can't bring my service dog in there to eat. My husband said he'd seen enough of people hurting me with the remarks along with being told NO. So my husband did call the health department after this other restaurant had said NO. He explained to her about this and she told my husband she'd had something like this come up not long ago and she took my husband's name & number and told him she'd INDEED call him back. She called back and said "YES" she is ALLOWED IN ANY RESTAURANT, FAST FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS AND ANY OTHER PLACES WHERE THEY SERVE FOOD. She even went as far as telling my husband she would be going to the restaurant who said NO we weren't allowed to eat there. When we went back hoping we'd be allowed to eat in there now. I stayed in the vehicle while my husband went in to ask because I didn't want to have to deal with the embarrassment again. He came out and said they told him YES so we went in and they were 100% fine with it and as a matter of fact they kept SMILING AT ME...

If I could give this establishment a 0 I would gladly do so!!! The customer Service, The Food, The Employee’s are TERRIBLE, if the owner could get more employees like Hardena and Elizabeth it would make MORE pleasing to do business with Mr.Waffle..

My Family and I was visiting on 07/01/2020 The lady in the back CONTINUED to touch EVERYTHING around her with the same gloves she handled each piece of toast she placed in the toaster all while drinking out of her personal cup while standing over the bread. She was asked several times if those gloves could be changed she looked at Elizabeth as if she said something wrong.. I requested for a refund and was told no the lady did not want to provide her name and called the police on me around 3:00 am on the First!!!

It's been a while since I've been to this place, because of a bad experience. Today I decided to give it another try.Lord knows my heart. I was there for 15 min before anyone ask for my order, I told her I wanted to be seated. She cleaned the table, but failed to tell me it was ready. I ask was the table ready. She said yes and handed me a menu. I sat again for 15 min before I was asked had anyone taken my order. As I was waiting on my order, there was a lady killing flies with a yellow fly swaddle, smh. I gets my order, the grits cold and everything piled up on your plate. I didnt complain,(would've been out of my character ) I ate a little and paid and left. I WON'T BE...
