After a hards day work , being new to the area , I decided to stop at this burger joint and grab a bite . Twenty minutes later i decided not to give this place my hard earned money . The place seemed very slow and i only ordered a burger fries and a soft drink ! The date was 4/7/22 approx. around 6 p.m Two young ladies were working the register of which one of them was obviously being trained on the register . She seemed nice. I also noticed two other employees in the kitchen area so I grew frustrated at the fact my order was taking so long! Peeking through the window and watching the ladies casually talking âchillingâ back not lifting a finger while a paying customer is outside wondering whatâs going on only exacerbated the problem. Before i started my career i worked an x amount of years in the fast food industry in a management position , and also with quite a bit of retail experience . Number 1 rule I was taught; Customer satisfaction is priority and # 2; Customer is ALWAYS Right ! I asked for my money back . Iâd rather spend my money elsewhere where itâs appreciated. I normally never leave reviews, good or bad . Who got the time for that ? But the words of the more senior young lady expressed to me and the rudeness she exhibited towards me gave me plenty enough reason to write this bad review . I could of had potentially and most likely would have spent over thousands of dollars throughout the years at this establishment but based off the response and treatment i recieved , that will no longer be a possibility. I will also , through word of mouth , complain about one of the worst services i have ever had at this place to anyone who will listen . If it wasnât for her telling me ânext time know whatâs you want to orderâ in a very rude way , and slamming the window shut on my face, i would have excused the slow service and went on my merry way . Being in various leadership and management positions, I know the struggle of finding good and decent workers to fulfill the companies or organizations goals and tasks. I for one , would express to my employees the dangers and consequences of treating people in such inexcusable ways . Let this be a teaching lesson . You are paid to provide a service .... CUSTOMER service . Making the customer feel welcomed, and appreciated makes all the difference. Just by explaining and/or apologizing for the wait could have made all the difference. This place has been around quite some time i wish i had more history on it, but i can tell you im in my 50s and remember it from way back. As you can see from the pics its got that small town drive in feel to it that makes you imagine the burgers of old that just just taste like them days. They do not disappoint the food is great. Im partial to the double cheese burgers and pastrami sandwich. The fries were fresh and tasty although could have used a little more crunchiness to them but that could be individual taste. It's alway been clean and neat and well maintained. They have alway been friendly and I've gotten allot of smiles and pleasant conversation.    Read moreReal good chili burger. They put lettuce on it if you don't tell them not to. It was one of the best chili burgers I've had in central cali. Just an fyi, I think Tommy's in so cal is the best, so that says a lot!
Ok update on 4-18-2025 I've tried so many things since I first posted. Right now, my go-to is the Hot Dog Combo, add Chili.
They have a Chili Dog that is out of this world.
