Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Selmer

I gave the cashier at the drive-thru pickup window $11 in cash and a debit card and told him to please put the cash toward the total, then pay the rest on the card. He agreed.

He laid the cash on the counter and fiddled with the card, and after what looked like a couple attempts to run the card, it apparently finally went through.

He handed me the card back along with the original receipt which showed only the total, NOT what he ran on my card, which was odd. Keep in mind, cash is still lying on the counter top (Odd.... Why didn't he ever put it in the till?)

I asked specifically for the receipt showing what he ran on my card. He got another employee and left the area, because he apparently didn't know how to produce the receipt.

She printed it and gave it to me. Lo and behold, he charged my card once for $11 and then again for the remaining balance! Weird!

I showed her that he charged my card for the $11 already and told her to give me back the cash. She obliged.

If I didn't know any better, and based on the fact that he left the cash sitting on the counter instead of putting it in the till, I might think he was trying to help himself to that cash!

If that wasn't bad enough, after I explained the whole incident to the other employee -- who apparently is the manager -- I mentioned to her that it was a little shady how he did what he did.

She rudely fired back, "He's our delivery driver. He's not like that! Have a nice day!" And closed the window in my face.

Not saying he was definitively trying to lift that $11, but I am saying it was shady and very possible! Be careful, and pay attention when you're transacting with these people.

May 27th 2023: Edit: We've got 2 pizzas since this review last month. Both we absolutely Perfect!! Also the cinnamon sticks were replaced. They'd put it in the computer to send out with the next order, That's really swell of them! I was sorta afraid that , like some places might say "that's been over the limit of days, sorry but your replacement was only for 24 hours" or something like that. But Not Domino's!! They do it right & have happy customers, Like us!! Thank you so much Dominos Pizza!!

It's very rare when our pizza is not right. Sometimes it seems the toppings are more than at other times but they're good. Today we got the Large 5 topping Pan Pizza with beef, chicken & ham, with green peppers & Onions. We also got the cinnamon twist, that we get a LOT!! they're so yummy!! But today the pizza was delicious but the cinnamon twist weren't right, they were more like bread twist with a little garlic & salt on them. My husband said "this ain't cinnamon", in a way it was funny! Anyway I called the store & the boy got the manager & he took care of it. We will get a order free the next time we go through, I could have gotten them now but just didn't want to get back out.

So glad for the caring folks at Domino's! Not every restaurant is this caring to get the...

The food is generally good and correct is why for the 3 stars- tonight I ordered 3 pizzas and two desserts - as we are having family over. When my husband got home one of the desserts were missing. I called to let them know my husband would be back up there to pick it up. The man answering the phone - customer service was a 0/5 stars. The young girl left the cookie off on my order apparently. So I was trying to order one- his reply was in a very rude proving HE was right voice- “I’m looking at the order and there is not an order for a marble cookie on here” - I told him I understand that I ordered one and it was left off so now I’m ordering one for my husband to pick it up and gave my name. He tried to correct his attitude in his voice - but subsequently hung up on me with out an apology for the mistake. Nothing. I have spoken w this apathetic man multiple times on the phone- so honestly I expected nothing less from him. Service time 5:20pm 3/20/20. Figure out who this person is do something w his customer service.
