Wow I must say y'all have a great manager there at the Seneca location he is always very professional. He makes the food look just like the picture. Lately he has been looking for feedback and asking customers how their experience was and stuff like that because he cares. I mean he truly tries to make sure every time he is cooking someone's food that they are satisfied and it takes exactly how they want it to. It looks like the picture every time. He does everything there man that's what it boils down to. Yes he is probably one of the hardest working guys I have ever met but the company needs to take in considerations just because he'll work for them as hard as he can and he's all and basically he has devoted his life to the huddle House y'all need to promote him because he is the hardest working man I've ever seen does everything for that restaurant and deals with everything that comes involved with a huddle House restaurant as far as employees calling out all the time he having to work extra hour etc.... Huddle House will sit there and hire cooks that are not that good and he has to take up the slack for that and he has to work harder just to make up for the cooks that they bring in... my favorite part about Sam cooking there is every time he delivers food he will wait till the perfect timing and ask the customer if they are satisfied with everything and if everything is cooked the way they wanted it etc. He pretty much does the server's job and The Cook's job he's running that place straight up keep it real guys That's why I'm surprised you guys don't have a close to a five-star review all the way out the board.... I went through each review and the only bad reviews that y'all get are because of people other than Sam like the cooks or the servers make a mistake heck Sam countless of times has had to fix that order for the people who messed it up and it's like dude that's ridiculous because he's just got a great heart for the customer for the employee I mean I'm telling you dude this guy would be a great role model to look up to he's got his shit together he is amazing and y'all are really blessed to have him and y'all's company for real I've heard employees say that many times he's the best manager they've ever worked for hands down and they meant that because multiple employees speaking yeah I know right. Read moreWow. We have been going to this place for years, and never had bad service, except for this morning. Food, excellent as always! But some people just aren't cut out to be a waitress. Tall heavy set black lady was nice at first, took our order, and we made jokes about being able to finish it. A few minutes later food comes nice and fresh....except the one thing we came for....waffle. She walked off we begin eating. A few minutes later I ran out of coffee and expected more to arrive as was customary here. She walked by gave us a glance and kept going. Then we realized no waffle. Despite her coming by several occasions, us saying excuse me, waving at her, she doesn't even look at us. She really wasn't all that busy, she was on her phone some, and was behind the line some. Finally I decided to confront her at the register. She yells to put a waffle down, after we are now halfway through breakfast. I mentioned coffee, and she nods. Ok, not a problem we all forget. We see it getting made, she goes over and stands there. The table in front of us is now complaining too about a waffle and missing items. She gets on her phone some more, does some other stuff around the register, and then begins taking money at it. By this time we are done. The table in front of us calls her over, she goes over to the waffle maker and grabs ONE, not both. She then delivers their waffle to them. It was quite clear we were being ignored, as we were right there in front of her. I don't know why, maybe my beard was unkept? We are RIGHT IN FRONT of the waffles and in her clear sight, and yet get nothing. No refills, no waffle, no checkup for over 30 minutes. We are parched and thirsty so decide to leave to get drinks elsewhere. I told her no waffle so I refuse to pay for it. The worst service there by far, but I'm not blaming the place and will probably be back to visit...
Read moreAfter having issues with door dash and huddle house, I placed my order for a THIRD time, paid for it and went to pick it up myself. I walked in and was asked if I was there for a to go order and I said yes ma’am. She said for Regina? I again said yes ma’am. After 15 minutes I asked if she knew how much longer my order would be. She got an attitude immediately. She said the paper just printed and there is 5 orders ahead of mine. I told her I had gotten notification the order was ready and that was why I had came in to pick it up. She raised her voice and told me to stop yelling. I replied in a normal voice like I had been using and told her I was not yelling and that I was simply explaining that I was told the food was ready and yet she just said the ticket just printed. Now, I def know how to yell and can do so very loudly but this case I didn’t even raise my voice. Also if the order just came through, how did she know I had an order and what my name was before I could tell her? She was rude. Sue rolled her eyes at me and laughed and mocked. I’ve never had a server at ANY restaurant as unprofessional and horrible she was. I do not know her name. But she was a large agrarian American woman with piercings on both sides of her nose. She was on her phone most of the time and was even FaceTiming while others were waiting to check out. It’s a shame this is the only huddle house in the immediate Oconee county area.
