Please read both reviews.

The establishment opened last night (5/23). We (wife and I) are glad. We need this business and craft beer facility in Seneca. They only had 2 beers available, but I know more are coming. Atmosphere is wonderful and just far enough from hectic Ram Cat Alley to be a great place to relax and enjoy summer.

Here we are on June 9. Although my first review was very positive...things are different now. It seems that Keowee Brewing is like the big firecracker we light expecting this big BOOOOOM, but just fizzles and dies. This is Keowee Brewing. They are never open. I have stopped driving by the place. The chairs are always upside down on the tables. Big let down

Alex - Let us know when you are permanently open so we can come enjoy your beers and atmosphere. It was so good during the Seneca Fest...

I've had the pleasure of working with Alex (Mr. Keowee Brewing) over the past 18 months as we helped him transform a 130 year old building into Seneca's first craft beer brewery.  His passion and dedication to the success of Keowee Brewing is mind blowing.  More impressive, however, is the perseverance Alex demonstrated throughout the whole process of difficult construction and the complexities of establishing a first-rate brewery.  Alex's patience will be evident in the beer he serves.  He takes pride in his product, whether it's building tables for the taproom or brewing an IPA.  The right way is not always the quickest or the easiest way.  Cheers to Alex for "doing it right" and here's to a bright future full of great beer...

We stopped by Keowee on our way from Winston-Salem to Alto and we were not disappointed! There’s a nice variety of beers and all of them are so good! (My favorites were the Highly Contagious and Scenic Route) The space is so clean and well maintained. It offers covered outdoor seating and typical indoor seating. Overall, the space is very family friendly. AND! The outdoor space is dog friendly! The menu offers a good variety of food. Though we didn’t get anything, I appreciated the variety and definitely saw several options I would have liked. Overall, I highly recommend Keowee! It is a great locally owned business that deserves all the support and success it’s received....

Establishment is super clean. Staff helpful and friendly. When I wasnt sure what i wanted to drink they offered samples which was nice. The pretzels were AMAZING. The chicken bacon ranch wrap and the buffalo wrap both were perfect in size and really good. Kettle chips came with the wrap. 2 wraps with chips 1 order of pretzel (2 large soft pretzels with beer cheese dip & a mustard dip) 2 wine slushies was $50. But the quality was A1 so zero complaints. Dog friendly. Great for a date spot or family spot. If you get a chance hit this spot up.
