Ahhhhh!!! After our amazing experience at Taqueria Tsunami in Athen GA, my wife notices this place in Seneca. Sushi and an American style bar/grill? Yes, please! Nope! I'm guessing the 100% zen sushi chef we expected to be working up culinary delights was most likely a pimple faced teenaged boy named Kevin, or Stephen (yes, with a "ph" instead of a "v") , or most likely Chad. Arriving, there were more teenaged hostesses than waitresses? Plenty of seating, but a 20 minute wait? On to the meal! The appetizer was sold as a meaty meaty delight. Basically cabbage in a wonton. The eel sauce on the shrimp tempura was soy and sugar. The pic of the wife's drink is how she left it at the table. She said it tasted like Kool Aid (OH Yeah!! Nope! Oh No!!!) Waitress said she'd bring something else but then knocked another customers drink off the table and forgot. The roll wrapped in nori had to be chewed so long we only had one bite apiece. On the upside... everyone that ordered burgers looked really happy with their choice as they watched their friends and family chewing rolls like cows with cud.

The atmosphere was very casual They had sports on on the big screen TVs the young lady was very attentive took care of all of our needs asked questions as to what we'd like and then we ordered some sushi in the picture the first picture the one up front was the number one winner it was a little pricey eighteen bucks it's called the tiger stripe was delicious and the second one up in the second picture the nuclear that was pretty good off the top of my head I can't tell you the ingredients but they were all delicious The other ones were just either a little bland or a little boring but the french fries oh my gosh we always get a big bowl of french fries to go with it but it was delicious we ordered four of the special roles that they have a special on Monday nights certain roles are 550 Wednesday nights by one get one half off but some pretty good stuff I'd highly recommend it and they have other things to but there's sushi of and rolls is highly recommended and I kind of get a kick out of college students making the rolls making the sushi Yeah

Came here on a Friday and although it was busy, we were seated right away. My mom and I got 2 appetizers to share, their chicken nachos and gyoza. The chicken nachos were dry and we wouldn’t order again but the gyoza was delicious. We also ordered the California roll and pepperwood roll. Both were delicious and very fresh. As someone who is not the biggest fan of fish or sushi, I was surprised to be able to find things on the menu that allowed me to not only dip my feet in but also actually enjoy. There are options available for every member of the family whether they are all about their sushi, someone like me who is open to trying, and those who are adamantly against fish as there are steaks, burgers, and chicken dishes available as well. Their drink menu is also outstanding. My mom ordered a pink Whitney and I got a blueberry cocktail. The alcohol was just enough to leave you feeling good but not too much to take away from the flavors of the drink. Overall I am excited to plan my next dinner here!

What’s so sad is that we used to love coming here. But the past few times coming to have dinner here has been way less than expected and less than the usual experiences. Today; we called for a table of 4 and were told the wait over the phone was 20mins if we gave them our info, so we did and arrived 5 mins after that. We weren’t sat until close to 45 mins after we got there when the place wasn’t even busy, it was steady. Upon being sat we waited close to 10 mins before even being greeted, which my husband had to go inside and ask the whereabouts of our waitress and the hostess was rude in her response. The manager came out and apologized and swore our server was “the best and most attentive”. We proceeded with the night, longer story short, the service was sub par, drinks were not ordered, left empty, and some items that were specifically asked for had to be brought out by the manager because our server forgot them and was not even the one delivering our dinner. It was all around a disappointing experience, and sad to say it wasn’t the first time something like this has happened. Hopefully Sole can turn things around and get staff that actually cares about the customer base and does their job attentively with...

The miniscule amount of food we received was absolutely subpar. I could not believe that the person who took our order did not know the difference between a raw sushi roll and a cooked sushi roll. After going over the sushi rolls I wanted with her, to confirm that they were all cooked rolls, she still got it wrong. All of my roles had raw fish in them, which I am not supposed to mess with. On top of that, I paid for extra sauce that they did not give and we had to drive all the way back to get it. We had to ask two times for flatware, my sister had tacos that smelled sour because they use bad food. The salmon was overcooked, and the Volcano Sushi had no toppings, and if that is their way of making volcano sushi, they need to improve the recipe, perhaps spend a week with a real sushi chef. If you don't know good sushi and good food, and you're a bumpkin, this place is for you. If you like high quality food, with a decent quantity, and a good bang for your buck, do not go to this horrible establishment. I wish I could grow 10 more hands so I could give it 12, thumbs down. I would have to climb 10 flights to basement level, just to reach disappointment for this place. Negative Stars. Do...

The Place Sole' Sushi Bar and Grill is located 700 ByPass 123 Seneca, South Carolina. Sole' has a warm inviting atmosphere. It has ample tables, booths and seats at the bar. We were greeted immediately at the door.

The Menu Great menu selection for Sushi and other fine entrees. We started the evening with Manhattans and Martini's. I had The Grill Black & Bleu Salmon - Lightly blackened Atlantic salmon served over creamy stone-ground grits & finished with warm bleu cheese cream sauce. We also ordered several Origami Roll crab, avocado, & cucumber topped with seared tuna, dunk sauce, & tempura crunch and an order of Black & Bleu Salmon Tacos Lightly blackened salmon piled high stop two flour tortillas with shredded romaine, fresh pice de gallo, & bleu cheese crumbles. Our meals were excellent.

The Service/Value/Experience. Our waiters were great. They GET customer service!! The bartender came over to our table to see exactly how we wanted are drinks made (Whiskey/Gin etc). The drinks were excellent by the way! Our servers were fun and very helpful. Overall we had a great experience and I highly...
