I've lived in the area for 8 years. The person who owned and operated the fox pizza was terrible. The food was bad and the customer service was atrocious. So we quickly learned to not order food from there, which sucked bc my wife and I grew up near a different fox pizza and it was one of our favorite places to get pizza, but clearly we weren't the only patrons who disliked the guy and his attempt at edible food, he ofcourse went out of business.
A few years after that the building was renovated and a new fox pizza went in with new owners! We were all pretty excited! So as soon as they opened we ordered some food and it was pretty good. Way way better than the previous owners all around so we were pretty happy with the new place.
That was the only time we enjoyed the food. The next time we ordered, the pizza tasted off. The sauce especially, I don't know if they do anything with their sauce at location or if its just pre-made and shipped so we gave them the benefit of doubt. Some time later we ordered again, this time both pizzas were dry and overdone and the young man who was working the front was very rude and unclean so we didn't order again for awhile.
Que last night, we just got back from a very long and stressful trip (Funeral). The kids were hungry and we were too tired to cook so decided to give this location another try. We were yet again disappointed in the product. Ordered a big daddy, half plain cheese/ other half pepperoni, bacon, banana peppers. A bbq chicken pizza and some breadsticks. The amount of toppings on both pizzas was insane. If you were to spread out the toppings from 1 half of the big daddy to cover the whole thing, it still would have been too much. Couldn't taste anything but bacon and banana peppers. Even after scraping off a bunch of it.
The bbq chicken pizza was the same. You couldn't even eat a slice without it completely falling apart from the massive amount of toppings.
This is confusing to me because it's a lose/lose situation for everyone. They use more product and lower profit margin as well as put out a bad product that in turn causes customers to order elsewhere, lowering profit again.
Maybe it's just the location mixed with pay rate that attracts less than ideal employees but whatever the reason, I don't think we'll be ordering...
Read moreWe were on our way to a friends so we picked up some pizzas on the way. We had pepperoni & plain pizzas and it looked picture perfect! It tasted just as delicious as it looked. They were devoured within minutes. The kids asked for more (they're a bunch of growing boys so they're endless pits), and they insisted we go back! I'm a pizza foodie and super particular about how long it was cooked, how the pepperoni is placed, how much grease, etc. The presentation AND the taste matter. One word: DE-LISHHHHH. The order didnt take long, and the second you walk in the door, the one girl was greeting you with a smile (I think her name started with an R). We were checked out and on our way within 2 minutes and I appreciated the speediness because we were running late. I will drive out of my way to go get pizza from them in the future. Theyre...
Read moreFox’s is amazing and if you haven’t tried their Taco Pizza.. you should. Everything else is delicious too- cheese pizza? YUM!!! Jeremy, the owner of this particular one is a great guy and quite accommodating.
Beware that he is NOT partnered with Grub Hub, even though they say he is. On 8/22 my hubs ordered through GH, after quite a while GH cancelled the order and refunded our money.. but they didn’t tell Fox’s. So Fox’s got the shaft an we didn’t find out until we ordered on a different night for pick up. So either call for delivery or go get it. It’s worth the few minutes and you get to chat...
