I have been in this restaurant a couple of times and received fairly good service and enjoyed my meals. However, the service my family and I received today was so horrible we will not be back to this restaurant. Our server came over to our table and before even taking our drink order, launched into a tirade about how we had been in before and never left him a tip, but he "knew we left (another server) tips". He continued by saying that he needed tips to make his bills and support his family, and that we were disrespectful by not tipping him. He came back to our table a few minutes later apparently even more worked up and told us "it was perfectly fine if we didn't want to leave a tip, he was fine", then reiterated most of what he had already said in his previous trip to our table. We tip based on quality of service, and on top of being subjected to this tirade, we were given a wrong drink, had to ask for straws for our drinks, and he apparently forgot to place part of an order for one of the meals, until we reminded him. We do not intend to return to this...

A brilliant taste of Mexico right at home. After living in Mexico and missing it so much, El Patron was a delightful bring-back to my Mexico memories. The meats are seasoned and marinated so well. Burritos, fajitas, rice and beans, and exceptionally flavorful guacamole are all highly recommended. My singular criticism is that i am not a fan of the regular tomato salsa. It tasted more like pizza sauce/italian marinara than Mexican salsa. It might be heavy on oregano or have thyme in its which I dont normally associate with Mexican flavors.

The staff are all super amazing and kind and were excited to hear us use our Spanish, even if it wasnt perfect. It put a smile on their faces and gave us an opportunity to keep practicing. Cant wait to...

The whole experience was... well... MEH... When we got there it was about 4:30pm on a sunday. I can see where someone would say It was late though so I kind of understand. Anyways, there's only 1 other family in there, just 1 other table. We were still asked to wait to be seated. That was 10mins for an empty restaurant. Then the Server was NOT ok. He straight up forgot our son's food, and I had to ask someone else and they brought it out. I'm pretty sure he was high. We all specifically asked for corn tortillas and he brought us flour. Then it took him about 20mins to bring the right ones back and 1 drink refill. when he got to the table his eyes were bloodshot and he was definitely dazed. He was funny as...

I paid $12 for the aroz con pollo camaron. This is what I got. And over $4 for this little thing of queso. Not to mention they were still bagging it when I walked in, not a big deal, but to live 3 minutes away and my food be cold by the time I got home was disappointing. The last couple times we’ve ordered out from this place it has been very bland and tiny portions. I’d honestly prefer Taco Bell over this.

Large portions of decent food for cheap. The food is okay tasting. I've had some pretty good Mexican food in Vegas and this is just okay compared to that. What is nice is you get a lot of decent food for a good price. I had a meal named special dinner and got 2 plates of food for 11 dollars. And try some food other than their ground beef, it's just not that great. Beans, rice, and Chile relleno were good.

It was delicious. I wasn't sure where to pay since the server didn't bring the ticket for a while. The prices on most of the food were fair but the large queso was a tiny bit of cheese in a giant bowl and was over $8 so that is a lesson learned. The chips are the thicker not made in house kind. But for a small town it was yummy.
