Was up early today and wanted donuts. So I decided to make the trek from Mansfield to Shelby to try out this bakery. I'm glad I did. I ordered a Boston Creme donut and an app chai scone. The donut was really good. It was heavy, thick, and chewy. The custard inside was delicious and the chocolate icing was perfect. However, the apple chai scone stole the show. What a delicious treat first thing in the morning. It had a strong chai flavor and apple chunks throughout. The pastry itself was rich and moist, and yet fluffy. Brilliant flavor and perfect texture. Loved everything and will be back.

Marigold is a lovely new bakery run by two amazing sisters! They. make everything from scratch and put so much care into everything they do. The cinnamon rolls are made fresh each morning, which is an incredibly rare treat! Would highly recommend a visit.

Such a great addition to downtown Shelby! The girls are the sweetest. We (my family) haven't found a baked good we didn't like. My son and I love to go and read books on the couch, of course, after we eat a delicious treat. Keep up the amazing work, girls! We...
