I am ambivalent about my experience at Angel cafe. There was a blond girl working when i came in. I was quite happy to find this very charming coffee shop. The girl was not so welcoming but rather cold. She did not show any appreciation for my cheerful self😅. . At the register was a middle eastern looking young man who was much nicer to talk to. I told him it was my first time there, i was rather hungry. I asked for his recommendation, he suggested Chakchouka. I was delighted as i know the dish very well. I ordered it and a freshly squeezed orange juice. The bill was about $20. I paid and went to sit outdoors. The blond girl brought me the orange juice first, then my food order and noted in her coldness that they had my order to go so i would not have to bring in the dishes 🙄 Thw burning hot Chakchouka was served to me in a to go plastic container which is made for cold salad. The Chakchouka came with a fabulous warm bread bum and two pieces of delicious falafel, plus a side of tahini sauce. All of which were delicious and excellent quality. However, the Chakchouka itself was disaster! It was more of some sort of bad tastless tomatoes soupe with raw eggs wthi the eggs whites still liquid and looking transparent. Nothing like any of the previous pictures showing here on Google. It was the worst Chakchouka i have ever had. I did not eat it. Great location, beautiful coffee shop, great bread, falafel, and orange juice. Poor customer service. Hot burning foods should never be served in plastic containers maint for cold foods. Chakchouka is not a soup but a breakfast dish with eggs, peppers and tomatoes sauce cooked...
Read moreFirst and foremost, delicious brewed coffee! I came here with three other people for what was anticipated to be a quiet Friday morning brunch. Instead, the majority of seats were taken, mostly by patrons who had finished eating.
Fortunately, one group saw us waiting and finished their conversation, allowing us to get a seat indoors (I was going to ask that a table outside be wiped down from the recent rain, but the indoor one opened up; not the restaurants fault!).
Very quick service after ordering at the counter! The egg white sandwich was delicious, with creamy avocado. The homefries were a little salty for my taste, but then again, I rarely put salt on my food so I'm keen to pick up on it. The large turkey sausage link was cut lengthwise and fried, giving it a yummy caramelized texture. Omelettes were good, with no complaints from the two that ordered them (who can be a bit picky.. ).

Read moreStopped in to grab some brekkie with friends. First off, I knew this was going to be a winner, all of the outside seating was taken. It is very cute inside. It was chaotic, people in line, people ordering online but the line goes fast. The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. I grabbed the falafel wrap and stopped a side of roasted cauliflower go by so I switched it up and added that to my wrap too. It was scrumptious, the fresh falafel were amazing. We even to to chat with the owner. He was very generous to send us a waffle and added a side salad to my friends plate because he didn't like the fact that she didn't get one.. He was very insistent.. It was a great experience and the food is all prepared for you, so fresh and delicious.. Not to miss if you are in the Sharon area.. I did hear there is a second location in the works too.. Hello...
