First, if you look at my reviews they are mostly positive and uplifting because I understand businesses need more love than hate. However, my most recent interaction with this business was so negative that I could not stay quiet about my experience. Over the last year I am a client of the business that shares a parking lot with this restaurant. I went to this restaurant for take out one day and the man that was working was very nice and did not say one negative thing to me about my service dog and I using the space outside the restaurant to walk or eat after getting my food. Flash ahead to this last week and I went to spa that shares the parking lot with this restaurant and had a wonderful appointment. Faby who runs it by the way is an amazing human being and I highly recommend her to all of you! Back to the point of this review. Following my service I departed the building with my service dog and proceeded to break him along the tree line next to the building and we walked it giving roughly a 25-30 foot distance from the front of the restaurant. We crossed across the lot to the side of the building I just had my service at when this woman started screaming at me. I turned and saw this beastly blond woman screaming at me aggressively that I had no business being there, asking me who I was and why I was walking my clearly marked service dog on her property and expressing quite rudely that I needed to go. I was absolutely stunned by her behavior but also a little fearful because she was acting like a crazy person. I put my dog in my vehicle and decided to go speak to her to try and deescalate the situation. Upon entering the restaurant she immediately greeted me with a smile and the sweetest demeanor like what had just happened outside didn’t happen. She’s a total Jekyll and Hyde and that red flagged big time for me. I tried first saying I’m sorry and didn’t know the two businesses were separate and I was on her part of the property but then explained I was a client of the spa and I was breaking my service dog because we had been inside for two hours. Instead of being nice she told me I didn’t have business walking my dog on her property and continued being super rude at this point again. I then tried to tell her to be less with the anger and more niceness and she then turned to her customer inside and said “this girls crazy” and rolled her eyes at me. I was stunned at how crazy and rude and how evil this woman was and I decided to just leave. Fearing that this woman was crazy enough to take my plate and do something to me I then reported the incident to the police. Apparently she’s done this to others including people with kids saying she doesn’t want kids on her property! I mean seriously?! She runs a restaurant but treats people this way?! So ugly a person. I can’t speak to anyone else who works with her but there were people working behind her who said nothing when she was being so awful to me. People like her are why this world is a mess. I would leave zero stars if I could just based on the interaction I had with her. And to think that I was about to go inside the restaurant after my spa session to get one of their bowls. Not only have they lost a customer but I am going to tell everyone about what this woman did to me and how selfish she is about her “property” and how she pays taxes on it and therefore can treat people so rudely. I have a disability and a clearly marked service dog and was not doing anything wrong except letting him go to the bathroom after sitting and working for two hours to keep me safe and we come outside to this crazy woman and had to deal with her evilness. I say stay away from this business. They don’t deserve to make a penny while she’s there. Maybe then she will realize she should start treating people with kindness and respect. Oh and the worst part, worse than this, she actually retaliated against the owner of the spa the very next day bc she owns both buildings! Such an ugly person. Don’t give...
Read moreDriest steak bomb ever. Lots of steak, but not much of the bomb...very few onions, peppers, and mushrooms (which make it more juicy and flavorful).
I hate to pick thru my food to see if it contains what I ordered. Luckily, I won't do that from the Carriage house ever again!
See my pics. I had to go fishing to show you the tiny bits of peppers, onions, and maybe mushrooms.
The big pieces of green stuff is the pickles that I asked for. And thank God I did! Without them, this steak-dud sub would have been to dry to eat.
I gave them a 2nd chance, as I used to enjoy their pizza when they first opened (but I moved away for a year, then came back).
Maybe they are cutting costs... I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with bacon
The pizza was loaded with flavorless pineapple. No pineapple taste whatsoever.
Lots of "bacon bits", which are cheaper than real bacon, because they are not real bacon.
If you like cheese on your pizza, you will not enjoy Carraige House pizza. Cheese was scarce and thin. All I could taste was those nasty bacon bits (and I LOVE bacon, the REAL bacon).
I could see bits of ham thru the thin layer of cheese (you can too, in my pics).
I wanted to give them a good review for their pizza--which I used to enjoy. After all, they aren't a sub/steak-bomb shop.
Between their steak-dud, and the garbage my girlfriend brought home tonight, they have lost a...
Read moreSame business / Same problems Website has some formatting problems. Website allows you to begin an order for pickup just to inform you at the end that the company is not accepting pickup orders. Called the company and three times the person answered the phone and just set it down without saying "Hello" so you could hear background conversation but no one was addressing the call. The background noise did not indicate that there were other customers at the register. Drove to the restaurant to place the order in person. The parking situation is still congested and dangerous. Upon entering I witnessed complete chaos within the store between the staff. The kitchen was disorganized and multiple customers standing in the entrance were complaining about mistakes with their orders. When I was finally acknowledged, the wait time was close to an hour for a pizza. Bottom line: This restaurant has potential but is not being run by anyone competent with restaurant management. When someone works out the management, process flow, and customer service issues with this establishment, it may be worth a second look but that day seems a...
