J.P. Gifford Café and Catering Co. — Restaurant in Sharon

Ok let me start off by saying this was one of the most polarizing meals I ever had....first off I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and it was extremely disappointing. It's called blackened for a reason(it's supposed to be coated in Cajun seasonings and charred till near black hence the name) yet this breast barely had any seasoning at all. Second it was described as being on a baguette which last I checked is not a hoagie roll and finally they dressed the sandwich with micro greens which did not pair well so overall a rip for $10....now the one thing that did impress was the order of fries I added to this meal. These fries still had the skins on and they were fresh fried taters not to mention they were salted just right hands down one of the best French fries I've had in CT so at least...

JP Giffords in Sharon CT has gone downhill this year dramatically!! If you don’t mind them consistently messing up your order/ not posting when they will be closed due to lack of staff or making you wait 30 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese then this is the place for you. Makes you wonder why they can’t keep staff? Nothing is consistent-

However their kent CT location is very consistent and you know all staff members by name & food is always the way you order it. I live in Sharon CT & will purposely drive to their kent...
