I recently had the pleasure of indulging in Nutter's Ice Cream, and it was truly a delightful experience! From the moment I stepped into their cozy ice cream parlor, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that made me feel right at home.
The selection of ice cream flavors at Nutters was simply amazing. They had a wide array of unique and creative flavors that I had never seen before. From classics like chocolate and vanilla to more adventurous options like lavender honey and balsamic strawberry, Nutters definitely knows how to push the boundaries of ice cream flavors.
As a foodie, I appreciate the use of high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients in their ice cream. Each scoop was bursting with rich and natural flavors that made my taste buds dance with joy. The ice cream was incredibly smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness.
One of the highlights of my visit was the impeccable presentation of the ice cream. The scoops were beautifully arranged in a waffle cone that was freshly made in-house. The attention to detail and the care that went into each scoop was evident, making the ice cream not only delicious but also visually appealing.
The ambiance of Nutters Ice Cream parlor was charming and inviting. The decor was whimsical and nostalgic, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It was the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat with friends or family.
But what truly sets Nutters Ice Cream apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their ice cream. They patiently answered all my questions and helped me navigate through their wide selection of flavors. Their enthusiasm for ice cream was contagious, and it added to the overall enjoyment of my visit.
In conclusion, Nutters Ice Cream is a must-visit for any ice cream lover. With their creative flavors, high-quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, and outstanding customer service, Nutters provides a truly exceptional ice cream experience. I left with a happy heart and a satisfied sweet tooth, and I can't wait to return for more scoops of their scrumptious ice cream. Highly...
Read moreAfter i got done with a hike in Antietam i decided to check out the town off Sharpsburg and came across this ice cream shop, and i was not disappointed. Even though it's only been open since 1996 it has an old-time feel to it. They have a variety of flavors which are a mix of your classic flavors and some of the more "exotic" flavors (ie pistachio), in all it comes to about 20. They can be served by cone (waffle i believe) cup, or shake. And several flavors are available in soft-serve, with the majority of the flavors being hand dipped. All come in a variety of sizes, ranging from small to upwards of a gallon.
For me, well i was drawn in by the Peach Frozen Yogurt (Non-Fat) in a medium cup. First of the medium here could easily, and i do mean easily, pass for a large or even an extra-large at many of the chains (for probably 3x as much out of your pocket as well). Makes me wonder what the large would have been like. And then their was the frozen yogurt its self. I'm not a religious man by and sense but my god was it divine. I don't think i have ever had a yogurt (frozen or otherwise) or ice cream that had such a balanced peach taste. Just the right match of peach flavor and creamy flavor, one not overpowering the other. On top of it all were the chunks of peach in the yogurt. Nice sized ones (maybe about a 1/4in) throughout, with just enough of a an extra flavor kick.
Price was extremely reasonable, with the medium cup of yogurt and a water costing about $3.50. Service was quick and friendly. Seating is limited inside, so if it's a nice enough day mine a well take advantage of the seating outside, they have some (benches) just out the door, but there is more close by in the "town square". So if you're in Sharpsburg or visiting Antietam and looking for a cooling treat, go check them out, i hope to...
Read moreMy lady friend and I were having a wonderful day and thought it would be great idea to have some ice cream so we headed on over to Nutter's. While we were enjoying the day it was a little chilly so we were expecting it to at least be comfortable when we entered the ice cream store only to find it actually was colder and that they had the air conditioning turn on and it was blowing cold air on our necks as it was mounted at the top of the wall behind us, well not so big a deal certainly not enough to ruin the day but when I asked the young attendant why it was on, before she had a chance to answer the older lady shouted out in an unreasonable and in a hate load tone saying (IF YOU HAD BEEN HERE EARLIER AS IT WAS SO CROWDED YOU WOULD NOT HAD BEEN ASKING THAT QUESTION) and then she said, ( THAT IS WAS SO HOT SHE NEEDED TO TAKE HER CLOTHING OFF). Well at that point I had just totally lost my appetite so as not to ruin my lady friends day I purchased her's and left very unsatisfied with the poor attitude of this older women had towards us. I will add the the attendant who took our order did apologize for her co-worker. I promptly told her that she was not the one who needed to apologize. So we left with no reason to ever return. After speaking with other residents of Sharpsburg, MD, they had told us that we were not the only ones whom she mistreated in this fashion. Now for the condition of the store, we found it to be dirty and un-kept. Rustic is okay but maintaining a good appearance and a clean environment in an establishment any establishment especially a place where you prepare and eat food is a must. Musty smell means mold. They should do something about...
