Casey's — Restaurant in Shawnee

I have been a customer here since it opened. Now I avoided going there if at all possible. The store is filthy most the time. Drinks spilled on floors, trash on counters and floors. When Jennifer was manager it was a clean well run store. I can't imagine the turnover expenses for this store. No one who the current mgr. hires stays very long. Which is probably good due to quality of people hired. Cashiers eat at register, blow their nose while helping customers, and overall unfriendly. I have been there while one cashier is working and 9 people waiting in line and there is absolutely no sense of urgency or even apologies for standing in line for so long. Guess what...mgr was in her office. Serious issues in this store. How about when they run a special on certain drinks and they run out first day. Obviously manager is not well trained on tracking inventory or taking inventory before a special. She is also one of the most unfriendly mgr. I have ever met. No sense whatsoever about good customer service. I loved this store when you had an attentive, friendly manager. Now, I will avoid shopping there if at all possible.. which is so sad since I live approximately .5 miles from the store. Oh one more thing....not all food workers wear nets in food area and one cashier waits on you with hair hanging in front of face and eyes the entire time. How he sees what he is doing I have no clue. Sorry for the ranting....it's been a long time coming. PLEASE send someone there without forewarning and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Interesting that when the store is the trashiest is when there are no customers and cashiers are standing around doing absolutely nothing. This store needs...

Casey's is a "go to" for our family when we are traveling. We can always walk in, grab a pizza and use the restroom and be right back on our way.... NOT HERE! Between softball games we came in to get a quick pizza for lunch. We were happily surprised to see they had a sub station here... since there was no pizza, or popcorn chicken, or fries, or pizza rolls, or ANYTHING that we could just grab and go we stood in line for a sub.... we watched in horror as 1 man moved at the speed of a snail to make pizza, while another big tall man... slowly prepared 1 sandwich at at time.... these 2 would never make it out of a burning building alive! I watched as 4 subs were made in 28 minutes!!!!!!!! Pizza never got done, and no one else in the store ever came over and offered to help these two guys. I was speechless.... but once you commit to the line you really have no choice other than to wait it out. The second trip was equally awful, this time we listened as a female manager told the big tall sub sandwich guy that she couldn't help him because she wasn't trained in the sub station?! WHAT?! That name tag says MANAGER!!! How the heck are you a manager and you can't help make a damn sandwich?! Pizza guy today actually finished a pizza and took his sweet time placing the pieces into the little paper trays.... but miracles do happen because we left with a slice each! I have been going to this location forever as I live nearby. It IS a convenient store right? I've tried to support this store always. I think I'm finally done. NEVER have a seen a convenient store close because their truck order came in.. that's not so convenient. Casey's, if you're reading this. THIS STORE NEEDS THE MOST HELP OUT THERE!!!!! Been to Casey's all the way from here to bolivar, MO and it's by far the worst.

Idk how to reply back to ownership since you commented and made it ineligible to reply so I'll adjust this.. Don't fill customers with false promises. I understand the business reply, but let's be real here... failing location with 2.8 stars. How low we trying to get before we actually help this location? Sad to say, but a shell might even do better here than Casey's. You all seam to neglect this location. Which is sad considering the location..
