We found this little spot on our GPS as we were heading into Illinois, and it didn’t disappoint!! They make their crust, which was a perfect combine of soft and crunchy. The flavors were spot on! The staff has been there for years and are very friendly. The owner was there and we chatted with him for a bit. By the time we left, we almost felt like family! Note: We were traveling in a motorhome, pulling a toad. There’s a huge parking lot next door they said it was ok to park in (there were no parking signs posted) so pulling into it, we were able to pull straight out to the road behind to get back on the freeway. There’s also enough room to turn around if you’re this big! Will def stop when we head back south!! 🤤 Thanks for the hospitality!

A group of 12 was visiting the area. This appears to be the only place around open to get lunch. Surprised how excellent the food was & How fast the service was. Everyone ordered different items and commented on how good everything was from the pizzas hamburgers, calzones, the italian roast beef sandwich was huge. I noticed a sign saying they were established in 1988. I am guessing this is a new building because EVERYTHING was so nice looking inside and out. Thanks Gillio.

You order at the window inside rather than at your booth. Prices are good, cheesesticks are kind of plain-just toasted French bread with mozzarella on top. Pizza was tasty and more on the thin crust side rather than hand tossed. Could order a deep dish as well if you like your crust thicker. Drink selection could be better-no diet options.

I called to place an order without the benefit of a menu in hand as I was driving. The lady who answered the phone was so nice & patient with me, telling me about their items and made it so easy to decide what sounded good. I placed my order and was told it would be approximately 25 minutes.

My food was ready on time and was delicious.

They typically cut their pizza in squares, but I asked for a pepperoni pizza to be sliced like a pie. Great pizza, cut the way I requested (by her, personally), and the crust has a great taste, too.

I ordered a large salad with their house-made balsamic vinaigrette. It was fresh and delicious.

Ordered a hamburger with everything and it was great! "Run it through the garden," like my dad used to say. The burger was nicely seasoned and meaty. Tasted...

The pizza was the only good thing there. We were the only people there and it took 30 min for that and then 20 min more for 5 dry cheeseburgers. When asked for everything they didn't put it on it. I ordered an Italian sub and got a ham and cheese on a sub roll with 2 pieces of ham, melted cheese, pizza sauce, a few sprinkles of sausage for the pizza topping. I asked for everything on it except jalapnos. I paid 56 dollars for that. And a bunch of people came in after and got their food before us. Just bc yours local doesn't mean you treat tourists like a 4 headed alien. We got stares from everyone and were very uncomfortable by...
