I order every weekend from this establishment. Today, I ordered and somehow the order came through as a pickup. I have NEVER ordered for pickup from this place. I spoke to the general manager, Haag, and he was disrespectful and rude. The food is always great, but this experience was horrible. I defend this restaurant on social media all the time. This time they failed, BIG TIME!!!! And look at what I got! This general manager needs to be fired!!
Update in response to owner's comments: I have never had an order re-made and delivered to me. You're staff is not telling the truth regarding our interaction. I never threatened anyone's job. Sadly, they have told you some outrageous lies and instead of reaching out to me directly to address my concerns, you have posted a ridiculous response instead. I simply requested that the food be delivered fresh, as expected. Customer service is important. Speaking to customers in a disrespectful way is way out of line. Very disappointing to say the least! Read moreDoughboys changed the recipe on their pepperoni pizza.It used to be where the grease wouldn't settle through the crust.It was a dry type pizza...Now it does.It used to be good after being in the fridge because the grease wouldn't soak through,because there wasn't any grease.There actually used to be dough residue powder in the box.And it used to be a thicker pizza.And would stay thick in the fridge.Now it gets all skinny and shriveled up because the grease has settled in it.There never used to be grease on the contact paper that is under the pizza in the box...Now it is pretty much soaked with grease......The taste is alright if you like greasy pizza.But that was one of the things about Doughboys.....That the pizza was dry and you could also taste the sugar in it....It was a sweet tasting dry thick pizza...Not anymore.But give it a try....Any of the local owned pizza joints are 100 times better than the national chains...But I won't be getting it as much as I used to...I used to get it 3-5 times a month.Now,I'll maybe get it a couple of times a year.....It's just not like...
Read moreNew to the area, my first time trying these guys. I got a 8pc fried chicken, pepperoni rolls, and potato skins. This chicken was way overcooked and dry as a bone. Speaking of bones thats all it was, next to no meat on them. The potato skins were delivered upside down so most of the topping fell off. Once we put them back together the things are hollow. So little toppings that I could have used each one as a bowI. I don't mind paying the higher amount that these guys charge ($8.99 for potato skins) for good food but you would expect some quality control to ensure that the food is decent. This should have never been delivered. I'm really hoping that this was due to an error or a disgruntled employee and not the standard these guys hold themselves to.
