Nautical Bowling Lanes — Local services in Avon Lake

I give them a 3. Mainly because it’s very outdated on the inside and they have loud music playing on the inside and strobe lights going even during the day. Also many of there lanes were out of order. Our machine that the balls were coming out of was breaking on the edges and had plastic coming off of it. For $30 and hour it felt a little outrageous. The balls were old and they didn’t have any that weighed under 8lbs. I usually bowl with a 6lb ball on base back home. We couldn’t even stay an hour because it was so hot my husband and I left 15 minutes early. The staff was rude, when approaching the desk to get started I stood there for 5 minutes while the three employees sat on phones ignoring me. Each time I had to go up I had to wait for a staff member to come help, they were always ignoring the desk. The lanes are to slippery and difficult to bowl on. There are no ramps for young kids to bowl with. I spent money for 15 games and when we finished the first round of 5 we decided to leave. When we asked for the refund of $55 for the 10 games not played we were told they do not give refunds and we could have free game vouchers. We had to argue to get our money back and will...

This place is absolutely terrible. We went with a party of 4 for cosmic bowling. First we get denied having 2 lanes because of "business". Then we get told they're putting 6 people to a lane and we had to share our lane with complete strangers. After this we are told we need to be moved again to another lane after bowling 3 frames to accommodate a larger group they had come in. All around this place was a mess, nobody could find a ball they were happy with. The customer service was so bad. After requesting a refund we were double charged, then finally refunding the whole amount. I will never be returning to this...
