The Scoop — Restaurant in Shelburne

This has to be one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever been to. The flavor I got was “almond Joy” and It was an almond milk based I team. This flavor is great, and it’s not too hard or flakey on consistency. The Scoop nails it just in the middle where it’s thicker and sticks to your spoon but doesn’t wedge up like a soulless hunk of ice like a lot of non dairy does. Ice cream is okay - not extraordinary, but enjoyable. The staff don’t seem to be very happy though… they were not friendly and were rushing us and the couple in front of us through as though it was closing, but it was only 7pm and they close at 8:30. They also didn’t give us a full 2nd scoop when we ordered 2 scoops(as seen in the photo) but charged us for it. Not an ideal experience but ice cream...

Delicious ice cream, plenty of choices( I had an incredible black raspberry chip and chocolate peanut butter). Great service from the young gal working solo with a great attitude. Has a very large amount of seating because of the outdoor area. Attached to a burger joint, so a perfect place for a special treat for lunch/dinner/dessert.
