KOB Kitchen — Local services in Shelburne

We chose KOB to assist in renovating our kitchen cabinets and countertops last winter. Our kitchen was original from when the home was built in 1988. Dated, worn out and not a functional use of the space available. We went with KOB based on reviews we'd seen online as well as personal referrals from friends of ours that had used them for their kitchens.

Celina and the rest of the KOB team were excellent. From our original contact, through the visit to our house for measurements, the in-showroom viewing of cabinet styles, hardware, etc. ~ especially the cabinet samples we were able to take home. Friendly, professional, no-pressure and knowledgeable!

The team from Surface Creations that partners with KOB for countertop also went above and beyond our expectations, from choosing the countertop at their showroom/warehouse to the installation day.

A very smooth and enjoyable process, which meant a lot as this was the first kitchen my wife and I had ever renovated!

The cabinet samples also were a big help for us to work with a secondary vendor to choose flooring and backsplash, order cabinet hardware, etc.

The cabinets were delivered, well packaged, labeled and, most importantly, with no damage! We ended up needing a little more base and crown molding and it was very easy to get what we needed.

We highly recommend KOB. Their reputation precedes them but also in our minds was earned with our project and dealings with them. I will also say that the carpenter that installed the cabinets and the vendor that did our flooring and backsplash all commented on the high quality and value of our cabinets from KOB, high praise as they work on a lot of other kitchens!

They do not have their own installers. The sales rep insisted I order when I was not ready to have the cabinets installed, and that there would be plenty of time, without telling me most contractors are booked months in advance or don't even return your phone calls. After the cabinets were delivered to the seller late last month, much earlier than discussed, and just at the beginning of the holidays where no one was working, I received a threatening email today from the company saying they would deliver my cabinets within one week or send them to a storage unit at my expense against my will, when I did not ask for them to be delivered. You shouldn't be selling a product you can't complete the installation of nor should you be threatening customers that spent $39,000 on cabinets from you. I could not recommend more strongly against...

Bought cabinets unassembled and put together myself. Being a master carpenter this was an easy task. After carcasses were installed found defects in doors and found a face frame damaged. When I asked about getting these things replaced I was sent an email with fill out this form and we’ll let you know if we’ll accept your claim in a week or so. Meanwhile I have a granite company scheduled and can’t put a base cabinet in. Extremely poor customer service. Spent nearly 10 thousand dollars on cabinets I would expect much better service like how can we help you now we’ll figure the other details later. As far as the product it’s built decent but not perfect and with the chance of damaged doors etc I’d seriously consider whether you want that stress of being tossed to the curb once they...
