McDonald's — Restaurant in Shelbyville

If i could give this place a zero i would !! My friend an i came to McDonald's at 3am on Friday feb 8th before going to work yk since this mcdonalds is the only one open 24/7 as for we live an work in Shelbyville.. Let me just say worse service we have ever had we are regular customers who come.atleast 2-4 times a week . the lobby was empty an filthy your employeess looked like they got to wear whatever they wanted your drive through had 2 cars at the window waiting when we pulled up to the speaker box to place our order waited 10 minutes was never once greeted then my friend said is someone gonna take my order the girl . the girl came on an said ill be with you in just a sec so we sat there another 10 minutes she never came back to take our order the other 2 cars after sitting there 20 minutes they pull off after getting there food . Then we decided to pull up to the window to ask what the issue was bc we hadnt been helped an had been waiting 20 minutes already so we sit there at the window another 10 minutes still receiving no service recal my friend is a gm an i am a manager myself so we know the drills an so forth. My friend then called an spoke with Jason the manager on duty she had told him we had been sitting in drive through for 30 minutes now an have yet to be helped his response back to us was have you now she said yes he said well i wouldnt know what the issue is bc i am in the back trying to do my job. Not how you speak to a customer first off second off thats not leading your team or helping em why be a manager if ur in the back when they obviously need help up front even though there wasnt anyone inside an we were the only car in drive hmmm. He said he was gonna figure out what the hold up was we wait another 10 minutes an the girl finally acknowledges us she comes to the window ask what we need while rolling her eyes an her customer service was very poor id personally rate it a 0 being the worst so we proceed to tell this girl we need 2 mcdoubles plain she doesnt repeat the order nor confirms it with us another wrong when dealing with customers .. Wait 15 minutes to get our 2 plain mcdoubles have now been waiting in your drive-through for an hour a freaking hr when it was so uncalled for bc we were the only customers uncalled for an no excuse for the poor service me.an my friend received tonight we got our sandwitchs they were very cold as if they had been sitting for awhile and it looked like someone had spit on them !! an bc of how we were treated an the service we received and the food we were served we will be contacting corporate today and making a complaint! This rating isn't entirely the McDonald's fault but it is mostly theirs. The patties are greasy and rushed and there's way too much salt. The salt I'm referring to is on the patties not the fries, they follow the recipe to the letter which is nice, but I think McDonald's as a whole would like to see everyone have heart attacks. You only need half a squeeze of the salt shaker per patty, trust me when I say, I shouldn't feel the grit of the salt in each bite. The restaurant itself is almost never clean when I am there so that result may vary for other patrons and I will attribute that to it being attached to a truck stop. I've been to plenty others attached to truck stops where they don't have this issue. The Pilot staff could do a better job of keeping clean as well on their end but I'll get to them later. I understand quality over quantity but without them having an ordering system specifically set up for truckers, they focus too much on their window and not enough on their front counter orders. We are not paid by the hour as truckers, we are paid by the mile. We need it just as quick as the family of four sitting in line. I say that not to be arrogant or rude, but while they are waiting in line for their food to feed their family, we are burning minutes on our clock and losing money that we need in order to feed our family in the first place. You guys have got to speed it up and do a bit more...

While my wife was in the hospital trying to recover from an emergency surgery, I stopped in here to grab dinner for my kids and I. I live approximately 15-20 minutes away from this location, so when I got home I checked my kids' food first. My daughter ordered a large BIG Mac Meal w/Cheese Only(a pretty simple meal, matter of fact, all of our meals were really simple) and her sandwich still had a little bit of the Big Mac Sauce on it. My son wanted the Large 10 piece Chicken Nugget Meal and he had all 10 Nuggets but they were dry as if they'd been sitting out for hours. They definitely did not taste even close to being fresh Nuggets. I had ordered the Large Double Quarter Pounder Meal w/o onions and mine came w/o onions but it was so sloppy that I had to wipe the Burgers excess ketchup off with a paper towel all the way around before I could even think about putting my hands on it to eat. So needless to say, it was a pathetic experience and a waste...
