Lyric Restaurant — Restaurant in Shenandoah

Recently, I had lunch here at the lyric restaurant and oh my Goodness. I am a picky eater, So I was naturally skeptical. The menu had lots of yummy choices and it was hard for me to decide, but then I took a glance at the daily special board and I knew instantly what I wanted to try. I went with Buffalo chicken Chicken and bacon club & coleslaw. The rest of my table went with corn fritters, cheese fries , wings And a cheese steak 🤤🤤 All of which were absolutely Flavorful on every bite, The customer service was fantastic and very accommodating. The restaurant Itself was decorated so cute. I felt comfortable and at home. We drive all-over pa searching for cool rural roads to drive our sports car on , roads that we have never driven and half way start to search for cool local restaurants. Today we found the Lyric in Shenandoah. My wife had the sirloin done exactly the way she likes, medium rare. Even Ruth Cris steak house couldn't get it right but the Lyric did ! She also had a tanqueray , tonic and lime though close to 10 ounces it was perfect. I have the chicken parmesan, mashed potatoes and corn. It came rather large but it was done perfectly. All that and more and under 50 bucks to boot. Life could not be better. Plus Sondra, our waitress was top shelf. We will be back...

Very disappointing experience. Ordered wings and I’m 99% sure they were just reheated in the microwave. Piping hot and dry inside and soggy and gross on the outside. Wife got the Friday special of Mac and cheese with baked haddock. She said it was alright but wouldn’t get it again. The waitress was kind enough to remove my food from the bill, then asked me if I’d like to add a tip since they couldn’t add it after it was rung up. I said sure $5. She only brought my card back with no receipt. I asked for a receipt and she said there was none. Checked my bank statement and she charged me $7 instead of the $5 I said.
