Molby Dick Restaurant Shepherdsville,Ky I did not give this place a 5 star ⭐ just because everytime I go there they are so selfish with their pump tartar & ketchup ! If I want pump tartar they always want to charge me for a very,very small container ! They really want me to only have tartar & ketchup in packages only ! I only went inside today & not the drive-thru window just so I could get me some pumped tartar sauce! Who would want fresh fish with packet tartar & ketchup? (NOT ME) ! I went there today 11/1/24 @ 11:00 am & I gotten myself a meal & I bought a 🎂 Birthday meal for an office worker and I wanted pump tartar & ketchup and I finally gotten them to give me (3) very,very small place containers for ketchup and tarter and I ask for 6 containers so I could get tarters and ketchup for both of us. I've been driving 15 minutes away to Preston Moby Dick's because atmosphere and the way I've been treated over pump tartar and I also know other people that's going to Preston Hwy Moby Dick's that's 15 minutes away just because they treat people with kindness and they don't give their customers of cold shoulder there ! I'm a lot closer to Shepherdsville Molby Dick Restaurant but lately I've been driving to Preston Molby Dick Restaurant to get better service and friendly people for sure ! Come on people lose business because you're so tight with your (pump tarter) and (ketchup). All these rules came from the noon manager ! Most of these workers here act like they are so afraid to smile 😁 and I know that job isn't a hard job and they don't get a lot...

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give 0. My boyfriend picked us up dinner and as soon as we went to start eating, I noticed a long black hair on one of our hush puppies. At first glance I thought it could’ve been my dogs hair and went to pick it up when I realized it was COOKED INTO the hush puppy…. Which instantly made us both sick to our stomach. We checked the other hush puppies and it ended up being more than one. I couldn’t get an answer when I tried calling so we ended up driving back up to talk to a manager. We threw the rest of the food away since we had both lost our appetite and took the hush puppies with us. I explained to the lady at the counter what the issue was and kindly asked for a refund. She explained she could either remake it or refund the money for the hush puppies which normally I would be okay with since I’ve worked in the food industry for 10+ years but the fact that it was cooked into it…. Couldn’t really get past that so I explained neither of us would eat the food even if it was remade and we had thrown away the rest of it. She stated she had to call someone to ask if she could since she doesn’t have the authority to do a full refund. The person on the phone said the same thing she first told us so I repeated myself again until the person on the phone agreed to give us a full refund. I don’t intend this review to bash them but maybe to warn others to just be cautious and check your food and maybe for the employees to wear hairnets while preparing the food or handle situations like this better in...

Kid inside on the register was awesome but man this place is somewhat overpriced. I ordered the whale fish sandwich for $10.99 which comes with two pieces of fish and two pieces of bread only. My buddy at the counter hooked me up with some house tartar sauce not from the packets and it tasted pretty good actually, I thought the sandwich was great. $10.99 seems a little steep but the mushrooms were ridiculous. I'll add the photo I paid $4 Plus tax for five little baby mushrooms and it kind of hurt to see it when I open up the package in my car so I had to do the review here please save your money and don't order the mushrooms.(I know I do have fat tiny hands which should tell you how small that little baby...
