Ordered delivery Sunday evening at 6:30pm as I've done many times before. Girl in the phone was difficult to understand so I repeated myself numerous times with address phone number etc. Was told 40-50 minutes. By 8pm was a little frustrated and called to find out what was going on with my order. Was told they were a lot backed up and would be out promptly. Another 30 minutes later called back again and asked for a manager as it has now been two hours since ordered. Shift manager said they couldn't find the place because I didn't provide a lot number so driver had returned and multiple attempts to call were made. I did provide a lot number. No calls came to me. No one pulled in the complex as I can see both driveways. Explained this to manager. After confirming they didn't take down the unit number and had the phone number incorrect he Simply said do you want us to deliver it? Or cancel? Um yeah I ordered it and paid for it but it's now cold so I requested it be remade. Manager seemed very frustrated that I wanted it still but I hung up. Called back yet again 40 minutes later and was told it was just coming out of the oven. By the time it was delivered it has been more than 3 hours. Not sure what is going on with this location but have never had this much issue with a delivery. Normally they don't even ask my info anymore once they pull the number. I get mistakes happen but attitudes in dealing with them are everything and this was handled very poorly. Read moreI order from Marco’s regularly. The pizza is great but over the last 6 months it’s gone down hill. Yesterday I placed an order online and after it had not showed up over an hour later I called the store. A girl who claimed to be the store manager, echo, answered and placed me on hold for 10min. When she did come back to the phone she told me that they were short on drivers and she didn’t know when I would get my order. When I asked her to just cancel the order she hung up on me. I called back and she let it ring once then picked up the phone and hung up again. I used another phone to call back as I wanted to verify my card would be credited and she lied and said it wasn’t her that hung up on me. When I told her she was unprofessional she hung up on me for the 3rd time. I will never order from Marco’s again and if you can’t hire better workers than this than maybe pay more than min wage. You have kids running a business and it shows. Do better.
I want to add that I would have gladly picked up the pizza had I known they were short on drivers. Seems common sense to call customers who placed an order online and let them know you can’t make the promised delivery time. Read moreordered 2 pizzas and garlic parm wings last night, the pizzas were kinda warmish and the chicken was the right temp to eat. The chicken wings were a little overdone, but still eatable mainly because I got the garlic dipping sauce(which was the only thing in the 40+ dollar meal I can say was worth the price). So the pizzas are ok, not great, definitely not significantly better than pizza hut, dominos, etc. if that is what Marcos is going for. But I have one pretty big complaint, I live maybe a half mile away from the store and according to the order tracker from the time it was made to the time i got it was 45 minutes...I think you could have had someone walk it over to me and it would have arrived sooner. The reheated stuff will be fine, but as I alluded to before, sorry Marco's, you did not convince me you are worth the extra 15% over the other chains, nothing stands out to warrant the increased cost even if nothing was horribly wrong...
