I would not recommend!
I pulled up, waited 5 minutes, said hello, and then someone volunteered to take my order. I order a hot coffee, wraps, and a donut and was told they didnt have the donut. When I tried to ask for another donut, I was told they didnt have that donut. Maybe they were out of donuts at 11 am on a thursday?? Anyways, I pulled up. Through the window, I watched someone put new gloves on, use their phone, and then go back to making wraps for my order. I was concerned about the food quality and asked to pay after the wraps had been made. Then ensued a chorus of "you cant do that" "she cant do that" "who does she think she is?" Until a manager (I'm guessing) came up and explained that I had to pay first. I did. Then I took my coffee and waited for my food. Employee crammed all 6 wraps into 1 small bag. She dropped one of the wraps on the floor and remade it. But the wrap was dropped, picked up, examined, and discarded with the same gloves that she used to remake my wrap. Lol I have a strong immune system so I'm not super concerned, but the service was bad. The food quality was not quite warm. And dunks around here are a dime a dozen. I highly recommend the dunkin donuts in Pepperell and in Ayer. Great service! Hot food and orders made correctly! Even smiling faces! Even had great experiences in Nashua! Small town businesses shouldn't mean worse quality, because the franchise name doesnt always save you. And being right off the highway shouldn't be what you count on to save you either.
I have some experience in fast food. Ive done a few years. I understand that people are under trained and that good help is hard to come by, especially in my state with a very high minimum wage, but training is essential. Food safety is serious, and I dont even want to get into allergies. I've made 100 burgers back to back and realized that I hadn't changed my gloves, but I was only touching burgers. Not my phone, not my hair, not someone else's freshly painted nails, not the floor. I'd like to warn others before they go here but if by chance a manager who works there sees this, please train your employees! Fast food has been given such a bad rap, but I have seen it done really well! You can give your employees dignity and good training without encouraging bad habits or saying "it doesnt really matter." Training is not done in 3 days. It is done everyday! And right now with limited people wanting to work fast food jobs, the choice is to train them or risk the business closing (because firing isn't an option right now, right?) But when everyone is doing a poor job, it's not the employees alone to blame....its the managers, and the owner and the way that they have decided to treat "easy jobs". Fast food is not easy by any means. It is a lot of work on your feet and a lot of attention to detail and constant stress. But these jobs are designed to be for the purpose of training for jobs like waitressing, restaurant management, and eventually restaurant ownership. But...
Read moreUsually I’m not one to leave reviews but this morning really actually made me upset. This morning I ordered on the go and had it set to go through the drive-thru, upon getting there I saw that the line was all backed up and so I decided to go in and ask to see if I can just grab my order from them since the drive-thru was busy and I wasn’t going to sit in line for twenty minutes for my stuff when I had to get to work. So I went in and asked and one of the girls from the window came up and said that typically the orders that are sent to the drive-thru go to that computer and the walk ins go to the front and I understand that I’ve worked at dunkins, I was working there when on the go first started and became a thing. I understand. But I also understand that if the lines were too busy for drive-thru and a customer came in instead it was okay because you can quickly pull up their order in the drive-thru register and cash it out and it literally takes two seconds. They made such a big deal about me going in. Who ever the girl was that came up to the front and told me about how ordering works went back to the drive-thru and was talking to the other girls over there saying with attitude how “if people order on the go to the drive-thru they should go through the drive-thru” and said some other stuff just complaining about how I went in and it’s like yeah when I worked there we may have complained about someone or something but that was not in front of the customer nor loud enough for the customer to hear. They gave such an issue about me walking in and not going through the drive-thru it was ridiculous. It literally take a two seconds to cash out the on the go even if they could have waited until it wasn’t busy to cash it out afterwards, the on the go is a separate button and area on the register so why they made a big deal I have no clue but this location definitely needs an attitude adjustment towards customers in...
