I think the Cafe aroma is a nice place to have a cup of coffee and other things basically it gives me a chance to unwind after I do a lot of other things you know but basically what I do when I get my coffee there at Cafe aroma? It wakes me up. And when it wakes me up? It lets me know that I'm going to be wide awake and refreshed during the day. However, I hardly even go over there anyway because, I hardly don't have the time to go over there either it's because I don't have any money or what. But, if I do have a lot of money I will go over there and have a cup of coffee hour or two while I'm there but basically that's just yet. I thought she was a reason why I like Cafe aroma I mean it's a nice place I've been there since 2002 I'll tell you it hasn't been the same since but it is under New Management you know. and I think the management that's there now I think they treat me very nice sweet. I would recommend it to just about anybody who wants to come down and visit it's not very far off the beaten path you off the freeway either at exit 145th Street exit or the hundred 75th Street exit either one basically it'll bring you right there to Cafe aroma because if you're coming or actually if you're coming from the south coming from the north it's completely right off 175th Street exit they're all you have to do is just go straight up hundred 75th to 5th take a right on on 5th avenue Northeast I just follow the sign to Cafe aroma it's right there at the corner of Northeast 165th Street if you know what I mean your dress is 509 Northeast 165th Street that's over there in shoreline...
Read moreI've been coming here for years, it's a lovely place to make neighborhood friends and meet up with folks. The staff is extremely friendly and I always look forward to their seasonal special.
if you need a quick snack, this isn't bad, but drinks really are their main offer here. their prepackaged snack selection is rather nice and they do offer some prepared food that may be heated up for you.
it's always been a very explicitly welcoming place to lgbtq folks and supportive of local communities and various discussion groups. I haven't yet made it there on a day when local musical performers are there, but they have signage for that too. there have been local artist offerings they have helped promote as well, some of them from high school students.
It has always felt like a very safe space run by respectful hard working people and that means a lot to me. they have gone the extra mile in creating a...
Read moreGood place, the coffee they have is quite nice. They've got more syrups (regular and sugar-free) than I've seen in other cafes, and they've got some neat little baked goods if you're feeling peckish. You can either walk in and order at the counter, or pull up to their drive-thru. The baristas are quite friendly and pleasant, but that can occasionally lead to the one drawback I've had, very minor, which is that they can get a bit chatty with customers. I've been here twice, and had to wait just a little bit both times to get my order. It wasn't really an issue, and the barista didn't ignore me ("I'll be right with you", acknowledging me), but I felt it worth mentioning.
If you're looking for a relaxed place with a positive and friendly atmosphere with great coffee, this is a fantastic spot. Just consider spending maybe a few extra minutes though if...
