Doc's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Shreveport

I very rarely give five star reviews, a place has to hit every note spectacularly for me to give more than a four point something rating. However I found myself hard pressed to find anything to critique this place about. For nine dollars you can have a sizeable, delicious sandwich with quality ingredients. By far one of the best sandwiches I've had in Shreveport, and likely my new go to sandwich shop after today. The staff was incredibly lively and friendly, and service was faster than expected. I hardly got the chance to sit down before they were bringing me my food. Perfectly cooked grilled cheese, flavors that complimented the fresh cooked bread well. Everything was presented and cooked perfectly. As a bonus you get some good bag chip selections as a side (always go with the zaps voodoo myself), and fountain soda for unlimited refills. As an additional note the place was very warm and cozy, and the seating is probably the most comfortable bar stool I've ever sat in. I came here to order and the white lady that took my order I can’t remember her name but anyway she looked at me like I ruined her day just by stopping in to get something to eat she was rude and disrespectful to me she didn’t greet me when I walked in and while I’m placing my order she’s like I’m a have to charge you extra literally everything that came out of my mouth she wanted to charge me for now I don’t mind paying extra for anything money is no problem on my end but I felt like she was doing this to me because of my skin color because her attitude changed soon as a white person came in an ordered and I was shocked need to say I will not come back nor will I recommend anyone to visit this place the food is ok but the people who work there have a problem with people of color if I could zeros stars most definitely would worst experience ever kinda...

My company placed a catering order of 24 sandwiches (all different with some having modifications) 24 bags of chips (all different) and 24 cookies (all different) with this order being delivered by 11:45am for our meal at 12 noon. And let me tell you, Doc's Sandwich Shop out did themselves! All the sandwiches, chips and cookies were RIGHT! Doc's was on time for the delivery as well! The food was tasty and fresh! And the customer service we received from Doc's was absolutely the best! Hands down we will be ordering from Doc's again for our work lunch, but now Doc's has 24 new individualized customers that will definitely go and check out the store front and try something different; cuz you gotta try everything!
