Farmers Seafood Mart — Restaurant in Shreveport

I was going to drive there but the reviews are stating limited sea food selection I'm looking for an actual sea food retailer I specifically like Papano which comes out of the Gulf and is very delicious. I'm sorry to inform you cat fish, Buffalo is not sea food. Shrimp, crab, oysters are crustaceans . When are we going to get a fish market that wants to sell a selection of seafood not just a limited selection and call themselves a fish market ?sorry but to me this is just same Ole same ole in Louisiana. I'll pass...

Finally tried this place since it was right by my house. Had decent prices for crawfish. Picked up some good alligator meat as well. With that being said the crawfish were nice sized. The negative is the crawfish were extremely dirty with more mud than I'm use to also large number of snails in the crawfish that had to be sorted out. Had close 4lbs of snails total in 2 sacks that i apparently paid for. Never run into snails in my crawfish 👎👎. Good service. 5 stars...

I love this place! I am in love with the Boudin egg rolls with the spicy mustard, the crawfish and shrimp ettoufee, shrimp creole, and gumbo lol.
