I walk in to complete a UberEats order, go up to the pickup area and inform them of it. The cashier, in the most slurred and nigh-incomprehensible way possible, says he’s “got me.” I assume that means he’s aware of the order and that it’s almost done.
Wrong. I had to wait for 30-40 minutes. During this long wait I overheard the food-bagger’s with the braids complaining about doing her job. Just… in general. Cashier asked her to bag things and take care of orders, and every single time she sighs and curses and complains because she has to work. It was absolutely insane. People who came in after me would order and get their food before me, although they had to endure some pretty ridiculous waiting times too for “fast” food. Im starting to get impatient, another food delivery driver gets his food before me, and that’s when my patience ran out. I asked the cashier where the order is, and he hits me with a, “We don’t have it.” I could still barely understand the guy, to the point where I thought he was drunk.
40 minutes to tell me they didn’t even have the order. I give him my phone, showing him the order and he takes it back. He gives it back to me, then a few moments later he comes out with the order in hand. Both him and the bagger say,
“We forgot the apple pie.” Cashier says he didn’t know they forgot it, and seemed to forget where the order even was.
A 40 minute wait, because the bagger forgot to get my apple pie, and the cashier completely forgot the bag with my food in it in the first place. When I finally got the bag they didn’t even seal it correctly when she got it, so the girl promptly took the bag back to reseal it.
This location is a complete joke. Y’all keep hiring these people with no drive to do the job THEY applied for and then wonder why restaurants and fast food places have a high turnover rate. Clearly a drug test needs to happen during the hiring process too, cashier was obviously on something the entire time.
Shreveport businesses and their employees… they never fail...
Read moreThis was the only McDonald's within 120 miles of me fully participating in the Genshin Impact x McDonald's collaboration.
This went so poorly. This was the first time I've gone to McDonald's in two years. The only reason I went to here was because of the limited time exclusive merchandise. THEY HAD NONE. The crew wiring was not even aware there was a national collab even happening. Thankfully, we at least got the in-game codes by email, so at least we got something out of it side from indigestion.
We ordered in the app from the parking lot, but still had to wait 25 minutes before the food was even ready. And it was subpar, even by my memories of McDonald's low standards. That surely was the greasiest, overcooked and cold "McCrispy" sandwich to have ever existed. Surprisingly, after such a long wait the food was still cold. Like not even warm, just cold. Fries were mushy and soggy. No idea what they were doing back there, but it wasn't cooking.
I was tempted to just throw the entire meal away. I did eat it, mostly due to morbid curiosity. It tasted of burnt pickles and salt. Which is weird cause I ordered my "sandwich" plain and dry. Can't believe that it cost me $12. How has this company not gone out of business yet?
The only good things I can say was the place was at least not very busy, so dining in wasn't that bad. Interior was very clean. Kinda makes me wonder what was happening that took so long since there were less than 5 customers the entire time I was there.
Oh well, it was at least better than having to drive all the way to Tyler to get to the next closest...
Read moreBreakfast food fast/tasty. Staff very friendly. Very un-clean facility. Floors are tile and almost slipped and fell three times as it was 100% humidity outside. Will not go back, ever. This McDonalds has to have two Police Officers to provide Customer Protection. At first I thought they were next to counter area waiting to order then I noticed one Officer already had Coffe cup in hand ✋.Before leaving I went into Bathroom but immediately turned and walked out as there was a Man at the sink that sharply turned toward the wall. He had something in his hand and didn't want me to see what it was. I felt he was shooting up as I saw the syringe. Poor guy seemed homeless. Combined with TWO Police Officers on duty I felt like I might be in a high crime area. As I left I asked the Policewoman if this was true and she was very polite and humerus and , ''My Partner is my bodyguard'' ain't nothing gonna happen with him here''.
I have never been to a McDonalds that required Police presence. Have been to movie theaters in big cities that require it but not a McDonalds.
Not much parking. Slots are narrow to compensate for small parking area.
Early morning around 7:30 and drive-thru blocked one side of the lot and was confusing as to where to park. If you parked on that side you would need to drive around the building and back to they side due to drive-thru traffic. Needs a bigger lot.
Let me emphasize staff friendliness.
Everyone that came near counter would make eye contact and greet you. That was refreshing. Very...
