I really miss the Sonic of old where you could get your food made the way it is supposed to be. After months of not eating at ANY Sonic, we decided to give it another shot. So very, very disappointed. I understand being out of items due to shortages and supply chain issues. I've worked and run a couple of restaurants so I get it. It wasn't the lack of items, it was that everything we ordered tasted horrible! The Coney dog was just... Gross. Some things weren't fully cooked, tots were cold and not remotely crisp, Coney dog was cold in the center and cheese gummy. The burger looked like it had been assembled on a ship being tossed about on a stormy sea. I get it, it's "fast food". It's not remotely meant to be something gourmet. But come on! At least have it be hot and fully cooked! It was very slow, only 5 or 6 other vehicles there at the time! To top that off, a majority of their drive up screens weren't functioning correctly and most of the card readers weren't working. When we told the carhop, she shrugged and said, "Yeah, most of them aren't working." I gave this place 2 stars only because the drinks were cold. No. Then, 35 minutes after I initially push the button, I get told I never checked in, by the same woman who initially answered. I get being "busy" and errors. But....don't tell me I never checked in. A simple "sorry" would have prevented this review. You also forgot my sauces and needless to say, the food was no longer fresh. It was an online order. Read moreI LOVE Sonic but this location is so difficult. The speakers never work so then I’ll move to another one, wait 15 minutes, move to another one, order; then I wait 30-40 minutes on the food IF I even get to order(This is the same every time). The app never works for this location either so ordering online to bypass the speakers never working isn’t an option. The staff is always nice and apologetic and I’m sure they’re also tired of the basic software/systems never working.
