Waffle House — Restaurant in Simpsonville

I have been to this location 4 times at different times each time and I have still never gotten to eat there. First time a lady yelled at me as soon as i walked through the door from behind the counter "No, no, no, no, no, we closed." Second time, even though the machine when I called said "we are open come on in", the doors were locked and they were inside talking to each other, doing nothing. 3rd time I stood at the to-go counter for 10 minutes and not a single person helped me so I left. And now, after working for 15 hours straight, with nothing else open this late, I called to place a to go order on my way home and once again the machine said we are open come in on and place your order so I passed other waffle houses so I could get fresh food closer to my house and thought, there's no way this one can continue to be that bad, but they apparently strive to be the worst waffle house EVER and guess what? I just left this Waffle House after the one in Fountain Inn employees could not take an order(pretty sure they were on drugs because no one is that stupid).After my horrific experience at the fountain inn location I had the best service and food I’ve ever received at any Waffle House in SC.Tiffany greeted me when I walked in and helped me right away with my to go order,Zack and Blake made our food to perfection,They all 3 helped my family out and actually acknowledged our presence,Fountain inn Waffle House needs to take notes from these 3 employees.Our food was the best food we had in a long time and their friendliness was worth me driving 13 miles out of my way to get good there.The restaurant was very clean and they had a few other customers in the restaurant,we got our food to go and everything was packaged &cooked properly (I had 2 special orders)We will definitely go back to this location soon.I just wish all the Waffle Houses had this...

I seriously am not sure if I will ever eat here again. Questioned some of the chrges that seemed excessive and the waitress got a nasty attitude while explaining. Our food order was somewhat correct but mixed up on the plates, so we had to switch around sandwiches and sides to make it correct. Items were missing that we had to ask for, etc... the waitress continued to be extremely rude and had things to say outwardly so that the whole restaurant could hear her comments... when leaving, she continued to be demeaning and nasty. Asked for the manager who asked me what I thought he could or should do about it. Told him he should send her home in the least. And if she were my employee, she would have definitely been fired for such treatment of customers. Even the other waitresses and staff were apologizing. Awful experience. I understand that it's not a 5 star establishment, but reapect for customers...
