Reading through some of these reviews makes me question the state of the world we live. Over the past two years we've watched the world change as we know it, countless business brought down by completely uncontrollable and extremely unfortunate situations. Restaurants were one of the hardest industries hit starting with decreased demand in 2020, followed by a surge of demand after restrictions were lifted all while having to contend with staffing shortages, at best rising prices on raw goods and at worst not having those goods at all.

Personally, I think the new owner is great, he showed more care to us in the times we have been there of late than any other restaurant I can remember in recent years. The food has been excellent, wait staff very attentive and overall the atmosphere of this restaurant remains in my opinion unchanged.

I personally give the ownership credit for pushing through and continuing to innovate and bring new exciting things to the area. I personally think everyone else reading...

Hadn’t been to Marco’s in a while. Was in on Tuesday with my wife for dinner and the food and service were great. Stopped in tonight by myself and while the food was delicious, the service was poor. I was thirsty and immediately drank my water but was never offered a refill. I placed my order, bourbon glazed chicken and a Guatemalan margarita. I got the margarita, which was excellent, and my salad came but no bread. I wanted to have another margarita but wasn’t able to get my server’s attention. My meal showed up and I asked for another drink and a refill on my water. I finished my meal but got neither the drink or the water. I had planned on trying the tiramisu but at this point I was rather disappointed. My server came over to clear the table and I reminded her of the drinks. She apologized and was going to get them and I told her not to bother just bring the check please. It was an...

We were excited to try a new place they had a pizza special last night. They only put out 2 pizzas for multiple tables to try said they were going to put out more and never did. I got 1 1/2 pieces. I ordered a salad the lettuce was not even chopped up as you can see in the picture. There was only 5 crutons and watery dressing with no flavor. When I said something the waiter put his hands in my salad so gross. My husband had French onion soup that was just soggy crutons and cheese no broth or onions. And the soda we ordered was flat and warm. And there was a up charge on the soda but they couldn't tell me why or take it off. We only had 1 glass each. We both left hungry... not a good experience. The only thing I liked was the bottle of water they put on the table. Yes we asked to speak to someone and no one ever came to the table. No they were not busy. Very...

Very poor food quality for your money. Pizza is worse than high school cardboard. Worse chicken picatta. Came out like steamed soup. I'm attaching a photo of it. There was literally half a chicken breast, diced up. Worse chicken picatta when I asked if the dinner came with a salad or soup the waiter stated yes. I was charged extra ( and the dinner was pricey ). Big disappointment. None of the 4 meals was decent. We definitely will not return. $105 for 4, no appetizers, still hungry afterwards. I didn't eat the dinner and was still charged after explaining the poor quality and flavor of the picatta. I even showed the waiter the online picture from their website showing the huge difference between what I received and what the picatta shod actually look like. I love chicken picatta, and this was no chicken picatta. $23 down the drain.

Moved to Granby a few weeks ago, almost every time I moved to a new area, the first thing I usually do is try the restaurants in the area, I have tried a few so far but I came across Marcos Italian Restaurant in Simsbury, by far the best Italian spot I have tried so far, from the amazing creamy pasta, to the excellent crust of the amazing thin Italian pizzas they have especially the Perfect Pepperoni, the Chicken Alfredo pizza and the Margarita pizza, to die for, to the 14 ounces New York Strip steak Alla Italia which was amazing. The great personalities like servers Authur and Alex, to the very kind and friendly owner Frank, an organize and clean restaurant, I mean honestly amazing experience, even took my family over to the restaurant for the first time and they absolutely loved the place. I seriously recommend.
