This is the worst, not only McDonald's, but restaurant either fast food or dine-in that I have ever had the displeasure of making the mistake of going to. Last night I go to this location to order a Mcdouble (with no pickles), a McChicken (add tomato), and a small fry. I was in the drive through at 10:29PM. I did not get to the window until 10:50PM because the workers could apparently not perform their jobs. The manager, "James" and a new hire, "Pheobe." When I get to the window they repeat back to me the wrong order. They had a Double Cheeseburger in the bag instead of the McDouble. After waiting more than twenty minutes to get to the window, they said they would get the right sandwich. TEN more minutes pass while I wait at the window. This may sound like a joke or exaggeration but I was timing the entire thing. I actually CALLED the location because they were completely ignoring the window. I saw them bag an additional 7-8 orders as I waited. The groceries in my back seat had melted and another patron behind me actually came to my car window and asked if I could pull over further to the side so that they could skip their food and just leave as they were late for work. When I called, James said he was STILL making the McDouble. Apparently, at this location, a McDouble takes a full ten minutes to make. Asinine. Eventually Pheobe comes to the window and when she goes to hand me my order, I ask that she at LEAST replace the fries as it had been bagged for more than ten minutes at this point and most certainly would be cold. She obliged and offered an apology. I STUPIDLY left the drive through without checking my sandwiches at 11:02PM. Lo' and behold.... The mcdouble was made incorrectly and had pickles! After waiting more than an additional TEN minutes for it and confirming three times, repeating back the order multiple times to Pheobe and the order and receipt both reflecting no pickles. Furthermore, the McChicken ALSO was made incorrectly. It was missing the tomatoes. After appoximately 33 minutes in the drive through, none of my food was even correct. I'm not sure if these workers are high on something or just that incompetent but I don't know anybody that I have ever come across in life that has ever struggled to do something so simple. I don't take for granted food service workers and don't think that they have the easiest job because it can be fast-faced but this? They were neither fast nor able to complete any part of my order correctly. I can almost guarantee that I am not the only one either. Neither of these people should be in the fast food industry nor can I think of any task that they do seem competent enough to complete without supervision. Additionally, I would like to add that I made a second call to the location after driving away and seeing my entire order was incorrect, and when I asked James - who is supposedly, inconceivably, the manager - for the corporate number to make a complaint, he simply advised me to, "Call the 1-800 number." However he could not provide me that number when I asked for the actual digits. This seems to be an intentional way to dismiss and avoid accountability for his terrible service. I have found the information on my own, and I highly recommend anyone else leaving a similar review report James to corporate as he needs to find a different line of work. I rarely eat out but this was a huge waste of time, ruined my groceries, and even had someone else in line late to work. This is inexcusable for a so-called...
Read moreAll I can say is I'll never eat in or go inside this location again. Talk about a clusterfock. It was so packed and took so long to get to talk to the manager as I was told at the drive thru to come inside and see mgr about my previous order at this location days earlier. My wife received the wrong order-imagine that. We called them that day, and they told us come thru drive thru and give them our name they'd replace the meal. I was in there 45 mins total before I finally got our food Togo. What a joke. This used to be my favorite location. For the drive thru, it's much faster. That new kiosk ordering inside is a total joke. Such b/s and always seems to not get my order correct, so start over. P-ss on that. I'll go drive thru from niw on and eat in my vehicle. I can always walk back in for the refill on drunk if I need it. You won't find a seat during rush times. Mornings don't dare sit in the "( morning regulars), tables, or booths. My God, I got the staredown of a lifetime from some old, rich looking lady. You know the kind. She looked at me like I was a criminal. Her husband was up getting their coffee ,I took it. I asked if I could help her as her husband approached. She ranted, " you're in our spot. Honey, he's sitting in our spot." I polited said, " Excuse me, you're spot, what the hell are you talking about ma'am. " Her husband then pulled at her arm to sit at the table behind me, and he politely said you're fine. At that time, a couple of guys sitting across from me said those folks came here every day, and they sat where I was with 2 other couples from 7am-9am. I realized now and said to the gentleman, "Here by all means I didn't know this is where you sit everyday sir, I will gladly move. I only sat here because it was near the restroom, and when I came in, well, you know. " So I got up and moved like a gentleman that I am, and he was. He hands me $5 and says, " let me buy your meal." Unbelievable, no, I didn't accept, but how nice of an offer. Don't ever hear or see that anymore, huh. I declined and instructed him to use it towards getting his wife a Xanax or two to calm her nerves. It was a chuckle between 2 men, no harm intended. The thought of sitting in a McDonald's for 2 hrs every day, let alone more than 15 mins sounded like a punishment to me. Lesson learned, don't sit in the rich lady's spot or any of the " regulars ". If you get stared down, then that's usually a sign you're in someone's spot. How dare you. Lol. One would think they'd much prefer a nice family restaurant a half a block away, " ( Johnny Mars )", which puts Mcds to shame everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. What do I know, right. Coffee probably costs a little more than that $0.99 cents and refills at Mcds. She wouldn't stand for that, I'm sure. It's strictly drive thru for me anymore at this location on hwy 75. Not to offend anyone, I mean. ( Enter with caution ), is all...
Read moreMistake no. 1. The ai doesn't work very well. I went to order two big Macs a medium Dr pepper and a large fry, and a frosty which I now know they don't sell and is not why I'm complaining. Simple enough right? The AI had no idea what I was talking about. Which I didn't even get the part with the frosty because it tried to order me two fries. When I try to tell it no that's not what I want, it cut me off and told me to drive ahead. Which I understand, there's gonna be bugs, I get. So when I tried to pull up to the window that's where mistake no. 2 happened. I didn't so much get greeted more like looked down too. This bigger set woman with blonde hair blue shirt and no name tag immediately started to try to ring me up. So I said "sorry the sign didn't order what I wanted." She just rolls her eyes and says in a condescending voice, "I have a big Mac with a medium drink and a large fry. Do you want it." This threw me off completely because it was just so rude the way she said it. I stammer back that I'd like a frosty, completely off track now, Even tho I wanted two big Macs. She then gets really mad at me, and tells me "this isn't a Wendy's, did you see that sign? This is McDonald's." I was ordering it for a friend and must have confused the two. I tell her I'll get a mcflurry instead because now I was just rushing to get out of there because this was not what I signed up for. If I could give this entire experience a zero star I would. Now it's probably just that one employee, I mean the guy who gave me my food was nice, but God that women was yeesh, far from the customer service I was expecting. Suggestion for others looking at coming here: don't do it while...
