As a local guide handing out a 1 star review is something I struggle with...but I have had it with this location! My family has a gluten allergy so we order the same 2 pizzas every time. In the past 6 months I suspect we have placed around 10 carryout orders. We have had more bad experiences than good. Everything from multuple price variations to not knowing if the gluten free is actually gluten free...let alone how it was handled. We have seen $5-$8 price differences with no consistancy or explaination until the last 45 days. The gluten free pizza is supposed to be cut different and often it is not. How are we to be confident that it was cut using the right cutter if it is cut wrong...cross contamination is a big deal with food allergies. When both pizzas have the same topings how are we to know which is which? Putting all of these aside we decided to give them one more chance tonight...big mistake! I phoned in my order leaving my name and phone number as usual. I was told 15 to 20 minutes and everything seemed fine. When I arrived to pick up my order I was told that they did not take an oder from me? I pulled out my cell phone and showed the girl the date & time of the call. She proceeded to tell me that I must have called a different lication. I then showed her my call log again which not only shows their phone number but their address as well. She took one look at it and again told me I must not have called their location but that she could make our pizzas within the next 30 minutes. Obviously I do not believe in rewarding bad behavior and she was not asking a manager to speak with me so I left. I went to my car as the place was packed and I did not want to cause a scene. I again called the store (same number the order was placed using) and asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold and after 4 minutes hung up and called again. The same person answered and apologized that no one picked up, but again put me on hold. This time someone did get on the phone claiming to be the manager. (Keep in mind I am in the parking lot and can see the front counter) I explained the situation and that I did not like being treated like a lier. He was kind and offered to again make the pizzas. I expressed that at this point I have no desire to support their business but felt management should know about the tranaction. I in no way felt that he cared let along would discuss with the staff. Everyone makes mistakes, it is what you do when you are notified that makes or breaks a business. This was a fail and I really don't...
Read moreVery disappointed in the service I received just over the phone. Never tried this business before but had always wanted to so we called to order food. I initially had a to call 3 times because nobody answered the phone the first 2 times, which was between 10:30am-11am. I understand people get busy so it was no big deal but told my child that I'd try 1 more time before calling another place that we always go to for pizza. The 3rd time calling a gentleman answered, and I let him know the pizza that we wanted and also let him know I had a Big Soo coupon. He tells me that it's not valid and that I cannot use it even though the expiration date is August 31st 2019. I asked him why. He stated that they are not allowing people to use them and are not participating but tells me to hold on. I figured he was checking to see if there was a way to use it, but instead, a lady comes on the line and says " what can I do for you?" I tell her I wasn't sure why I was speaking with her or what was going on and but told her the coupon I had. She stated to me in a rude tone that they are not accepting them and they don't know why they are in the Big Soo book but told me she could let me know other specials if I wanted to hear them . I listened but declined them since they were not what we we're looking for and cancelled our order . I told her that there are several coupons for their business in the Big Soo book and it's a shame they are not honoring them.
This situation should have been handled much differently and it's much more than just a coupon, it was the way I was spoke to over the phone about the situation in addition to them not honoring what they advertise and promote in a book I and many others paid for.
We ended up going back to the business that we typically order pizza from and were able to use their Big Soo coupon they promoted as it should be. Not a good first impression for a customer but especially a brand...

I recently placed a delivery order for a large pepperoni pizza. About 20 minutes later, I received a voicemail from a Pipestone area code.
The person stated she was a manager and that she wasn’t supposed to be working that day but the morning shift manager didn’t show up and that there was a guy there who was only half trained, etc, etc. lots of oversharing.
Point being, she made clear that my order was not going to show up. She promised to refund me and that was it.
I then proceeded to order another pizza from a different pizza place.
2 hours later, this Marco’s pizza shows up. I ended up just giving it to my coworkers.
Now obviously, I understand having to pay for a delivered product I ordered. But when I receive a call saying I’m not going to receive it, just give me my money back.
I understand growing pains and employee turnover. It just seems like there aren’t processes in place to prevent a poor experience like...
