Taco John's — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

I googled their hours at 57th and Cliff before going over. It was 915 pm, and it says they are open until 1p pm. I went in, and some guy mumbled something at me from behind the counter as he walked away and disappeared in the back. I waited a minute, and finally another guy came up and told me the lobby closed at 9 pm, I have to go to the drive through. I went outside and went through the drive through, ordered a 6 pack and a pound. I wanted some protein bowls, and they said they weren't available because most stuff was put away. Now I remember why I don't go to Taco John's anymore! Barely any sauce packets when I asked for extras. Easier to stay home and make a sandwich. My husband and I ordered via the mobile app. I went to the store to get my order and stood at the front with the staff looking at me. The counter person finally came and I told them I was there for my mobile order. I watched as the team in the kitchen argued with each other while I waited. I finally saw our order get out together, and promptly put into the hot box because the young man on til didn’t bother to tell anyone why I was there. Rarely do I not receive exactly what I ordered. They are great about fixing their mistake and polite about it.

Their food is 90% of the time, hot and made to order.

This Taco John’s has the best service out of all the Taco John’s in Sioux Falls. I’m pretty positive they won an award for their speedy service in 2023.

I’m a huge fan of TJ’s. It’s my #1 fast food joint. I’ve been eating it religiously forever so when I leave this review, I really mean it.
